Free Medivh! Boss Guide & Information – One Night in Karazhan

Here’s our Free Medivh! Boss Guide & Information for the Hearthstone Adventure, One Night in Karazhan. We’ll be listing Prince Malchezaar’s deck, special cards, winning deck lists, and card rewards for defeating the boss!

General Information

Prince Malchezaar is the last boss of The Spire wing in One Night in Karazhan. Malchezaar has taken Medivh captive and it’s your job to free him and save the party! Nazra Wildaxe, an Orc Warrior, is in the first Portal you enter which you’ll need to defeat to get to the next one. Once you defeat Nazra, you’ll find the correct portal and continue with your board, however, Prince Malchezaar will immediately cast Twisting Nether or Shadow Bolt Volley. On the plus side, Medivh equips Atiesh to your hero for free!

  • Nazra Wildaxe starts out with 15 Health in Normal mode.
  • Nazra Wildaxe starts out with 15 Health in Heroic mode.
  • Prince Malchezaar starts out with 30 Health in Normal mode.
  • Prince Malchezaar starts out with 30 Health and 30 Armor in Heroic mode.

How-to Beat Heroic Free Medivh!

This is the toughest fights of the Heroic battle you’ll face. It’s best to extend the period of the fight with Nazra to get deeper into your mana pool so you will be ready to face Prince Malchezaar. You will need some heavy removal with the ability to stick minions on the board. Paladin is one of the best classes at this with Equality, plus you’ll be able to reduce the Abyssals down to size with cards like Eadric the PureHumilityAldor Peacekeeper, and Keeper of Uldaman.

I was struggling with this for hours until I found this guy:

Take his alternative hint though and go for an OTK C’Thun it works WAY better; you need a chunky C’Thun (36+ which is quite possible with this deck) and Brann Bronzebeard in your hand – then on the turn when you kill Nazra, drop Emperor Thaurissan because at that point you get 2 turns in a row; 1 to kill Nazra then you go first against Malchezaar (though you can’t do anything). This brings C’Thun down to 8 and Brann down to 1.

Malchezaar will probably Twisting Nether and tap his hero power giving him 30 health, 30 armour and 2x 6/6 Abyssals – so your C’Thun needs to deal 72 damage… and since you’ve just dropped Brann on the board that’s not a problem!

I seem to can’t even go near ~30 attack on C’Thun, this boss is driving me crazy.
When I’m near Malchezaar, I never draw one of the cards of the combo, and when I draw them, I’m already like at 1/2 hp left and I cannot survive.
When I have something big on the board, instant 2 damage and execute.
Holy shit, this boss is near the heroic Animated Armor in the previous PvE adventure, where you are needed to have the stars aligned to beat it.
