Fractured in Alterac Valley Card Reveal Season Starts Tomorrow – November 17! Full Expansion Reveal Schedule

Fractured in Alterac Valley will be the next Hearthstone expansion, continuing (and possibly ending) the storyline of Mercenaries that started earlier this year. This time, two of the factions will clash with each other, hopefully resulting in some real interesting story!

While there are still 3 weeks until expansion’s launch, we’re now entering a pretty interesting time period – reveal season. New cards from the set will be revealed by various websites, community figures, as well as Blizzard. Once a new card is revealed, I’ll try to post it both here on HSTD and our social media. I’m also doing daily compilations on social media, showcasing all the cards revealed on Day X. Those might come in handy if you missed some reveals and want to catch up.

Normally reveal seasons kick off with a longer reveal video on official YouTube channel, or even a reveal stream, but it looks like this time we’re getting straight to the reveals.  The final reveal is on November 24 and it’s most likely the usual final reveal stream, during which they showcase most of the cards they didn’t throughout the season, and then post the final ones shortly after it ends.

Do keep in mind that not every card is revealed in English straight away. Some of them are only showcased in e.g. Russian or Chinese and I first need to find a proper translation. Wording on those might be awkward, and the art quality is often lower. Sometimes the effect itself is also wrong – I try to fix those as soon as I can, but mistakes do happen. I always switch to the official version once it’s out, but sometimes it takes a while – especially during a weekend (we often have to wait until Monday to get it).

Anyway, if you want to follow the reveal season with us, here’s a full schedule. Going to the link will show each reveal in your own time zone. You can also find who reveals each card by clicking on individual “teaser” images. Those teasers are very often intentionally vague or misleading – they usually show only a very small part of card’s art, sometimes making players think that something completely different is getting revealed. And that’s part of the fun – guessing what cards we might see before they’re out!

Another bit of info, all card reveal was done by playhearthstone themselves instead of third party like they always did in the past. I don’t know if this is intended or not.

    I wonder why?

Third parties are still doing the revelas. It’s just that Blizzard has hidden who’s doing it this expansion because they wanted to protect them against “backlash” from the community given the current situation at the company (and let them back out even at the last minute if they want to without anyone knowing that they did).

It makes the reveal season much harder for us, but I guess that I understand where they’re coming from.

It was third party like always. Haha. But then Wall Street Journal had released article about Bobby Kotick, and boy do I look surprised. He was the one behind it afterall.

You probably want to cover this one?

I just don’t grasp why companies keep putting guys like that at the top who offer absolutely nothing to the table. Like have you heard Bezos trying to price people off the planet and trying to push us peasants into space? Saying the earth will just be a vacation spot. What a remarkable humanoid.

I can think only a simple reason. If the guy on top keep making his shareholders happy, by always giving them profit over the year, why wouldn’t a guy like this get to be put down?

Oh and btw, apparently, even the shareholders starts to blame him now and ask for his resignation. So I guess no other reason left, at least what I can think of.

1 ticket to boot his @ss please.
