The latest Hearthstone mini-set has been announced. It’s called Fall of Ulduar and it will be released with Patch 27.4 on Tuesday, September 19. Once the mini-set is out, we’ll be on the lookout for any new decks to post – but first, we have a short card reveal season ahead of us!

The mini-set also adds the Anomaly System to Standard, Wild, Twist and Arena. Anomalies are special effects added to the match that affect both players. There will be 20 Anomalies in total at launch. For the first week after mini-set’s release, Anomalies will happen in every single match. Then, until Patch 28.0, they will be present in 25% of the matches. After that, the only way to trigger them will be Cho'gall, Twilight Chieftain. Anomaly is randomly decided before mulligan, so both players can prepare for it.

Is it also guaranteed to get a legendary card in the first 10 packs after the miniset is released?
Yes, if you haven’t opened any packs yet you’re guaranteed a legendary in the first 10 packs. After the mini-set is released cards will be added to their respective card pack pools. The pity timer and guaranteed legendary don’t reset after the mini-set comes out if that’s what you mean.
Wait… Anomalies for all Constructed formats? Twist and Wild, too? Good gracious, this is madness!
OMG, even Arena… Thank God I already did my Constructed climb this month.
I hate anomalies. Guess I’ll need to make sure I have my 11x multiplier before the miniset comes out so that I don’t have to play any ranked for the rest of the month.
I love this! I wish chogall was 5 mana or less since I mostly run Aggro, but this is a fun card. Maybe they can have an anomaly day each month, like they have on the 15th with noz.
