The final wing of One Night in Karazhan, The Spire, will be releasing on September 1st. The wing boasts some cards that will seek to solidify some of the interesting decks that were theorycrafted before the release. Book Wyrm looks to be a strong card, but will it be enough to give Paladin or Priest a boost to their Dragon lists? Malchezaar's Imp is the final piece to the potential Discard-Lock deck, but will it be strong enough to beat out Zoo as Warlock’s go to deck?!
Check out below for the list of cards from The Spire that will be unlocking this week, and I’ve also included some guides to the bosses you’ll be facing!
Which cards do you think will make the biggest impact? Tell us in the comments below!
I’ve been tinkering with a Control Mage kind of deck recently with things like Firelands Portal, Arcane Golem and Effigy; blow up your opponents creatures whilst gaining board control with your own – Firelands Portal is expensive but a good fit.
Firelands Portal with Medivh (well Atiesh) is something I *have* to try.
I have a feeling that this wing will be the least impactful. The most meta changing cards were released in the last 3 wings (Barnes, Arcane Giant, The Curator, etc) by the looks of these cards, I doubt that these will be as impactful as those cards were. However, I don’t think that these cards will drastically change the meta, I do expect them to find solid homes in pre existing decks.
Violet Illusionist and Nespite Historian
