Warcraft is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year (interestingly enough, it’s also WoW’s 20th Anniversary and of course Hearthstone’s 10th Anniversary). It was already announced a couple of weeks ago, but we’re getting a special Direct with announcements regarding the future of the franchise. The Direct will happen on November 13 at 10 AM PT (19:00 CET).
Hearthstone is one of the games that is getting some announcements. Of course I don’t want to hype this too much, because there’s a high chance it’s something minor, but it’s still cool that the game is included (sadly it’s often ignored during those kinds of events). And maybe they surprise us after all.
Watching it for 20 minutes on Twitch or YouTube (or 3 minutes on TikTok…) will earn you in-game rewards for Hearthstone, WoW and Warcraft Rumble. For Hearthstone, it’s just two packs (PiP + GDB), but 2 packs for 20 minutes (well, or 3 minutes if you use TikTok) is still not a bad deal.

Can you gain rewards from each of the platforms or is it shared across them?
Back when they were doing simultaneous drops on Twitch and YT, you couldn’t get both. But things might be different now, I haven’t tested it in years.
I have no idea about TikTok, it seems to work differently (you don’t link your account but rather get a code). So maybe?
In other words, I have no idea.
Thanks anyway, do you know if you have to set it up and say that you’re participating or if your account is linked does it just automatically start it?
If you’re asking about TikTok then I can’t say that I’m an expert. The only interaction I have with the app is when my wife shows me funny videos.
The post doesn’t really explain it very clearly, but from what I understood, you don’t need to link your account or confirm anything. You just need to open their stream when it’s live and there will be a progress bar at the bottom. Once it fills you will receive a code that you can redeem on Battle.net.
But again, that’s what I got by reading the post, I sadly don’t know for sure.
Thanks!
YouTube and Twitch drops for Hearthstone are definitely independent, I just got the 2+2 packs from last nights watch.
