Not meta, just a fun homebrew I thought up. Still in testing.
An Aggro deck that aims to establish a fast board presence with tough creatures, and keep them around to win trades by healing them. Lots of synergy with healing- especially Lightwarden and Holy Champion. You can often buff those two’s damage by 10-12 off of one circle of healing, allowing you to push through some crazy damage. The “self-damaging” creatures are there to give us something powerful to heal. Mukla’s Champion is a great finisher due to the number of low-cost minions in the deck. Squashling synergizes well with Amet and Mukla’s Champion.
Works best against other aggro or zoo decks, or any creature decks that have a slow start.
Does poorly against combo decks and control decks.
Cards to consider: Potion Seller, Holy Fire, Light of the Naaru, Happy Ghoul, Grim Patron, Defender of Argus
Weakest cards: Injured Kvaldir, Shadowboxer
Happy ghoul maybe?
Hey, thanks for the comment! I hadn’t thought of him to be honest! The free cast is very nice but, as a 3/3 I’m not sure he does enough… this deck either likes combo pieces or just fat creatures. I’ll try him out though, maybe you’re right!
Happy Ghoul is probably better than Mukla’s Champion.
