What’s the reason for running Gnomish Inventor in this deck?
And q nr 2: How often does one get the actual OTK combo? What are the actual combo pieces, and how easy is it not to use them earlier in the game?
I rly wanna try this deck, but feel like i need more guidance.
gnomish is for card cycle and theres no otk what are you talking about
You can one-shot someone with both Velen and Malygos (not present in this deck) on board, plus Mind Blast and Smite (again, not present).
I tried this deck. played like 15 games, half against jade, as expected.
And while it stands in theory, it gets rekt.
Even jade can rush you most of the times.
Aggro decks are half the times, if your mulligan doesnt suck.
BUT JADES RUSH YOU WTF?!
Midrange ones you beat easily, ok.
Geist, i am a fan of this card, but ALL jade dudus never shuffle against priest, and even if you destroy the original cards, it turns out he didnt even need those extra two jades.
While I understand your frustration, this deck as pros will tell you has 54% win rate across the board even with current jade, after nerfs it will be tier s
The problem with this deck is well it’s easy to pilot incorrectly and some of the card choices are meta
You are going for a OTK or two turn lethal with shadowreaper
if played well and fended off till this turn you should be able to easily take down 30 plus hp in a turn
Totally agree with you. The OTK or two turn set ups with this deck are VERY real and powerful. Jades are a tough match up no doubt, but very winnable and I would agree that this is favored over Jade Druid, when played well. This is not a deck for just anyone to play. Not trying to call anyone stupid or anything like that, but this deck takes A LOT of practice and decision making is key!
If you are struggling against aggro and early game pressure, you may be interested in looking up StrifeCro’s variant of Razakus Priest. I feel (after playing both lists extensively) that his version is a bit better in the early game. It does not run the Velen however, so… your damage calculation is a bit more important and may take more than just one or two turns to burst them down to ShadowReaper.
Dude, you do not run geist in this type pf Razakus build. It has like four 1 – mana spells of its own.

Pesky evolve shamans and Jade druids are still dominating the board. Besides, geist helps card cycle – retroactively.
