i took Greenskin out and the two Deathspeaker (they work really good too), but i like to combo Voidripper with Fan of Knives, especially against Taunt Druid. They left the game, after i cleared 6 1/5 in my turn 6. So its -Greenskin, -2 Deathspeaker, and +1 Fan of Knives, +2 Plague Scientist for clearing big single taunts vs Druid/Priest/Warrior. Working so well with SouthseaDeckhand and Deadly Poison. The thing about Rogue is efficient trading.
100% loss rate to everything control, and other aggro decks are faster, Odd rogue needs tons of topdeck skills to win, otherwise it is just a bad arena deck

Do you have any tips on how I could increase my wr against those decks? The matchups zalae showed replays off are relatively easy to overwhelm.
1) Spell hunter: Your main goal here is to overwhelm the board with minions in the early game and push for lethal damage as quickly as possible. In this matchup, there are less minion trades to make which really helps but also makes the correct mulligan necessary. You want to mulligan for one 1-drop and hench-clan, deathspeaker, or blink fox. Deathspeaker is a great followup to trade into misha if summoned from animal companion or ‘to my side’. Make sure to play around secrets, whether that means attacking with your weapon first or trading a minion with 2 health left into one of theirs before attacking face.
2) Taunt druid: My record with druids from 5-legend was 8.1 with my only loss being from a taunt druid. Definitely one of the harder matchups but not impossible. With this matchup (and with most) you are looking for a 1 drop on turn 1, hero power turn 2 (or 1 drop with a cold blood to push more damage). Important mulligans are one 1-drop, a three drop, and very important for dealing with taunt minions – void ripper and vilespine. To improve my win rate against them I kept one or the other if in my opening hand. Do not be afraid of a turn 3-5 void ripper if a big taunt minion is played. Remember, they will always win late-game. Its up to us to make effective and strategic trades in the early game to push for lethal as soon as possible.
3) Odd Pali: Before I further got the hang of this deck I was 2.2 with odd pali. After understanding more of the matchup, my win-rate went to 5-2. My strategy against this deck (who knows what Zalae would say, though) is to mulligan everything for dire moles and fireflies (and SI agent if on coin). You NEED early game board presence to win this matchup. Always and I mean always trade into their 1.1s with either your minions or your face, even if you start taking a lot of damage. You should attempt to stay out of lethal (be cautious of leeroy+blessing of might+2 damage weapon for 11 damage). Other than that, keep trading your minions into theirs and then when you have a board with a hench-clan thug they cant take care of, an edwin, cobalt, etc, then its time to set up a 2-turn lethal play. Remember, they have no board clears. If you make big minions and a big board, you win.

It honestly depends on the matchup and your current hand. I would stay away from keeping him in your mulligan/opening hand, even when on coin. A 2 mana 4.4 can definitely be useful in some matchups but that won’t always be the best value for him. Mid-game, you can pull out a 10.10 which can be very sticky against some. Most of the time, I would end up turning him into a 6.6 and expanding my board – combo-ing him with one-drops. Late game, don’t be afraid to use him as the combo piece for a vilespine. Remember, this deck is all about strategy and out-valuing your opponent.
And in answer to bg, I recommend mid-late game when you have more pieces to combo him with. That way, you already have big threats on the board like cobalt and hench-clan, then drop another big threat.
I am not a fan of van cleef in this deck. Sure, there are times you can get him pretty decent, but that’s later in the game. On average, he’s a 4/4, which is pretty underwhelming. Also, this deck is pretty jam packed with 3-drops. I like the inclusion of deathspeaker (it’s my favourite card printed and use it in zoo all the time) however, I don’t think 2 of is good in this deck. I opted to keep argent squires as they are a great card in this deck. Cold blood on argent squire early can seal you a game, same goes with turn 6 cobalt scalebane and argent squire, or even fungal 3/3 divine shield. Also gives you more combo options with CB and vilespine. I also find 2x cobalt clunky. I use one and then utilize spiteful smith. It’s a 4/6 body with tremendous upside…constant deadly poison effect! I do utilize the voidrippers as they are a good addition with what’s going on.
Odd paladin is often unfavoured here, but board control is essential up to turn 5-6, then you can try and swing for face. Taunt druids are a pain, and spell hunters can as well. Sometimes playing a blink fox instead of that hench is a good idea to bait out a swipe or something. Patience can help out for 1 turn. I’m currently 30 legend and with my variation of deck I’m currently 29-5.
People always think aggro is brainless. It isn’t. Odd rogue you have to maximize your damage and understand what deck your opponent is playing. Play to your outs and sometimes refrain reaps the biggest rewards. Control decks on the other hand doesn’t require much thought. You play the one card that saves you and you always play reactive.
it’s also just a good card in general. You can do things like attacking with a high attack minion, then void ripping it to have a bunch of health going into your opponents turn and not being weak to removal, a coldblooded firefly for example
