Mulligans
General Mulligans
The mulligan can be a tough choice with this deck. I have listed the cards that I would always keep in my starting hand, against any type of deck. However, I would consider keeping a Shifting Shade for example if I had Shadow Word: Pain and and Mind Vision for example.
Yogg-Saron Priest (Season 29)
As everyone knows, priest decks are struggling. The new cards Priest of the Feast and Onyx Bishop were somewhat lackluster. However, if you want to play priest, and don’t mind rolling the dice with Yogg-Saron, Hope's End, here is a Priest deck for you.
The deck uses many of the new cards and is surprisingly fun the play. Its not going to be the most competitive deck out there, but its not at hope’s end either.
This deck shines in the later turns, so the early turns can prove troublesome with a particularly poor draw. You will notice Injured Blademaster is the only early minion in the deck, and he’s three mana! An aggressive Muligan for early removal is the key in order to contest your opponent’s board. Holy Smite and Shadow Word: Pain will help you reach turn three when you can start playing minions.
You can also use Shadow Word: Death early, if needed, as the two copies of Entomb should help you clear your opponent’s big threats later in the game.
Once you hit the later turns, you have some serious threats of your own. Arcane Giant is a great card and the spells you will be casting will make make him fairly cheap. The Onyx Bishop is another decent card which can swing the board in later turns.
You will also notice, there isn’t much card draw, but its really not needed as many of the cards in this deck will copy your opponents cards.
Finally, once you reach turn nine or ten, mighty Yogg-Saron will become available. Use him wisely. If you have the game well in hand, it’s sometime better to hold off playing him, as it truly is a roll of the dice.
