Wild Even Warlock Overview
Few decks in Hearthstone leverage their life total as a resource quite as much as Even Warlock. An archetype originating in the Standard format, Even Warlock gains access to powerful tools that perfectly complement the deck’s game plan. Faceless Shambler comes out as another potentially on-curve threat for a deck with a seemingly unending stream of 8/8s. After a flurry of Life Taps, an un-nerfed Molten Giant can be played for free alongside 4-mana 7/7s via Hooked Reavers.
In general, Even Warlock looks to make use of a one-mana Life Tap in the early turns to get Mountain Giant on the board as early as turn three. From there, it takes advantage of several cards that minions from a lower life total.
While reducing your life total as much as Even Warlock may seem risky, the deck is not without recovery options. Warlock has plenty of even-cost healing at its disposal and can quickly pull itself out of range of burn after hitting critical health breakpoints. Likewise, Even Warlocks have numerous large minions to Taunt up and protect themselves from a fair amount of minion damage.
In Wild, Even Warlock lacks much of the top-end found in Standard lists, but more than makes up for it in mid-game threats. These mid-game power spikes give the deck a chance to close out games early against control or lock down the board and apply counterpressure against Aggro.

Had a great Sunday morning stream playing into Top 20 with Even Warlock. The deck feels really strong when you fully commit to leveraging your life total. pic.twitter.com/BEh0yILWGK
