This isn’t nearly the most powerful Reno deck, as it cuts cards like Sylvanas Windrunner and Carine Bloodhoof. However, it’s cheaper by a substantial amount and it’s still strong.

Reno Jackson is one of the most defining cards of Gadgetzan, second only to Patches the Pirate. Patches made Aggro decks more powerful than they had been in a long time, and Reno sometimes shut down Patches. However, no other decks could compete with those two, and so that season was extremely repetitive at high ranks due to a lack of diversity.

Now, Reno decks have some of the most diverse lists of any deck. This is because of the nine classes, Reno is really good in eight of them. No other card except for Undertaker has been so powerful in so many classes. For those who don’t know, Undertaker was a Naxxramas one-cost card with the initial effect of giving itself +1/+1 whenever a Deathrattle was played. In Naxxramas, however, two extremely powerful, low-cost Deathrattle cards came that could easily be played alongside Undertaker. Those cards being Haunted Creeper and Zombie Chow, which are still regularly played today in wild. Creeper is a very sticky card that could potentially get 5-10 damage off before dying completely, and Chow still is one of the most over-statted one-cost cards. Such powerful cards set off an explosion in the meta, causing every single deck to have to run these cards if they wanted to win.

Just like Undertaker, Reno isn’t as strong by itself. This deck runs the cards Echo of Medivh, Duplicate and two copies of Baleful Banker to make our opponent have to kill us up to six times, not including Ice Block. Most powerful control decks have a secondary win-condition, ours being Marin the Fox, a card which can give you insane cards such as Zarog's Crown and Tolin's Goblet. The rest of the cards in the deck draw your wincons faster, or hurt your opponent while you get your wincons. Another wincon is Giants + Echo, a powerful combo which can get a huge board in just a few turns. Overall, one of my favorite decks of all time, and not as powerful but a bit cheaper than some other lists.
