Mulligans
General Mulligans
Barnes is an auto-keep every time as it's the only way you'll beat an aggro is luck and a strong Barnes roll.
Hallucination is the best turn one you can get with this deck as it can generate minions for the early game and can also provide Gadget fuel.
Backstab is backstab, it deals with early minions the same as in any Rogue deck so is a decent keep.
Sap is strong as it can provide a buffer and stop big minions early on but it's a fourth option, I wouldn't advise keeping it alone.
This is a Miracle Rogue with a twist.
The deck is based around getting Barnes and then having zero bad rolls, either hitting Gadgetzan Auctioneer , Emperor Thaurissan or Malygos , and then going in. The main win condition of the deck is Malygos and burn but this can come from either Barnes rolls or the dragon aspect himself.
Realistically this deck performs much like every other miracle deck in terms of match up, beating on control and losing out to aggressive decks (looking at pirate warrior in particular) but also loses out to control warrior as, similar to any burn-heavy deck, armour can often become insurmountable.
Razorpetal Volley is being played as extra burn as without minion pressure from the Tomb Pillagers or Edwin getting them to a reasonable burn point. Razor-petal’s, alongside Malygos, are either free or 1 mana fireballs which add up very quickly when used in the volley package.
Shadow Strike and Mimic Pod can be used at the discretion of the player as with only three card spaces find which one you need another copy of more. If you face control more, and have the time, take another mimic pod. It rarely misses the mark, but if you need the removal shadow strike is as good as you get in Rogue.
Shadowstep is best used with Barnes, for another roll, or Malygos, if you haven’t hit the Emperor discount.
