Mulligans
General Mulligans
Against pretty much every deck, we're looking to do the same thing, so the mulligan guide isn't too complex here. We need our minions early- they're our engines that make the rest of the deck run. The spells of the deck are important, but mostly interchangeable once we have our engine online, so the minions are the priority here, especially Radiant Elemental and Valishj, the single most important card in the entire deck.
Theorycrafting for a combo deck featuring the new legendary Priestess Valishj, this deck looks to cycle through its cards using cantrips and tutors like Power Word: Shield and Shadow Visions, finishing with an Embrace the Shadow kill. Radiant Elemental and the eponymous Priestess are the mana engines of this deck that enable playing so many cards in one turn, and massively speed up our clock. Handmaiden is also a huge addition, as drawing 3 cards is a large reload and we’re planning to cast a ton of spells in one turn anyhow.
