Mulligans
General Mulligans
Generally, as an aggro deck, you want to have a solid starting curve, so look for your 1 and 2 drops, as well as possibly Call to Arms
This is an aggro/midrange mech paladin that has a side win condition of summoning V-07-TR-0N. The deck is an adapted version of the mech paladin on GetMeowth’s theorycrafting stream.
If you can stick Mimiron's Head and 2 other mechs on the battlefield through the opponent’s turn, you can summon a 4/8 minion with Charge and Mega-Windfury, which allows it to attack four times, dealing up to 16 damage to face.
1-cost
1x Cogmaster is run for mech synergy, and a more consistent turn one play
2x Glow-Tron are played, because it is a 1 mana 1/3 with magnetic, a solid statline that is hard to kill, with the bonus of being a buff target or buffing other mechs due to magnetic
2x Mecharoo are played, as a mech version of Possessed Villager. It’s a very sticky minion, due to its deathrattle, and should help with summoning V-07-TR-0N
2x Righteous Protector are run because while it is only a 1/1, it also has divine shield and taunt. This helps it protect other minions/mechs, to keep them alive for Mimiron's Head .
2-cost
2x Annoy-o-Tron is basically a Righteous ProtectorMecharoo , with one extra health and mech synergy. It’s another hard to remove mech that protects other mechs, and assists in summoning V-07-TR-0N
2x Galvanizer is similar to Fire Plume Harbinger, reducing the cost of mechs in hand by 1. A 2 mana 1/2 isn’t a great body to be playing, but the cost reduction of mechs in hand allows you to play more mechs. Playing more mechs also fuels the win condition of activating Mimiron's Head
2x Mechwarper is like Galvanizer, in that it allows you to play mechs for cheap, and also comes with a strong body.
2x Shielded Minibot is another sticky mech, as a 2/2 with divine shield. Minibot is great at trading up, and just a very strong card that can help activate Mimiron's Head
2x Upgradeable Framebot is a 2 mana 1/5 mech. While it only has 1 attack, 5 health on a 2-cost minion is one of the highest health 2-drops in the game, allowing it to stay alive and… you get the point
3-cost
2x Divine Favor is run because as an aggro deck, you will need to be playing cards a lot, and Divine Favor allows you to refill your hand with more cards. Standard card refill.
2x Muster for Battle is run because it’s a great card. It floods the board with three Silver Hand Recruits, and gives you a 1/4 weapon to ping minions.
1x Spider Tank is run because it’s a mech with a solid statline. This card could be cut in favor of more late-game cards, or more early game cards, but is slotted into the current list as another mech that is a good play on curve.
4-cost
1x Enhance-o Mechano is a mech. The low curve of this deck combined with the board flooding ability of the paladin hero power make this a strong card to push you ahead of the opponent in an equal situation, but isn’t great without a board.
1x Piloted Shredder is a 4/3 mech that summons a random 2 cost minion upon death. The card could be a bit slow due to its unimpressive statline, but it is still a strong mech that synergizes with the deck’s win condition.
5-cost
2x Call to Arms is run even at 5 mana, because the ability to draw and play 3 minions under 2 mana is a very strong effect. The card is great for throwing mechs onto your board to synergize with Mimiron's Head . The worst case scenario for this card isn’t too bad, and the upside when playing this card is game winning.
2x Giggling Inventor is like Call to Arms, summoning two Annoy-o-Trons, as well as a 2/1. The 2/1 is not great, but getting 2 sticky mechs onto the board is a great effect that synergizes with the deck’s win condition
1x Mimiron's Head is the whole point of the deck. Playing 17 mechs, along with 2 Giggling inventors that summon 2 mechs each allows you to consistently have a board of mechs in play. When Mimiron's Head is played onto the board, it instantly becomes a card that the opponent needs to remove, or else V-07-TR-0N comes onto the board and puts you in a winning position.
6-cost
1x Sunkeeper Tarim Giggling Inventor is probably one of the best paladin cards ever printed. Setting all other minions to 3/3 is usually a buff to the minions that are run in this deck, and allows for large taunts on the opponents side of the board to be dealt with easily.
