Mulligans

Druid

I just wanted to make a fun deck to play that used Tyrantus, not meta-breaking or anything, just that I in general like decks that are leaning more towards fun while winning, not just pure winning.

Healing Touch  and Feral Rage  is mostly in there to keep you alive until late game, but feel free to swap them out for other cards as they are not extremely important although flexible.

Mulligan is sort of hard because the Un’Goro meta is unknown (placing my bet on jade druids), so I’ll mulligan generally.

You will want some early game and draws, which is why we have:

 – Enchanted Raven and Wrath.

 – Wild Growth  is good early, but risky in the current aggro meta.

 – Innervate into Mire Keeper works turn two aswell but consider picking the minion in case your hand is full of spells, because of the low amount of minions in this deck’s early game.

Early-Mid Game:

 – Play this deck as if it was a ramp druid, you want to get to 10 mana as fast as possible but never use your Innervate  on Wild Growth , if you by any chance have lots of cards consider using Nourish  to gain mana. Unless extremely neccessary avoid using Sunfury Protector, this is one of the win conditions.

 – Don’t be afraid to play Gluttonous Ooze  if you play vs a class without weapons, the chance of them getting one is fairly low.

 – Don’t use Gluttonous Ooze  on the Rusty Hook  from N'Zoth's First Mate or Light's Justice , because this is not Acidic Swamp Ooze  or Harrison Jones , charges have no value with this card. That being said, if the weapon has been buffed then consider destroying it depending on how big of a threat to your board or face it is.

Mid-Late Game:

 – If you are struggling with Mid-Late phase you can afford using one Sunfury Protector  if you have a board and need some passive healing. Or use either Healing Touch or Feral Rage

 – Verdant Longneck  is there as a flexible card but best case scenario generally would be Massive  or Crackling Shield  (for clearing minions) in this current meta because of the aggro and you will want to stay alive until turn 8-9-10 generally depending on how many Innervate  you have used. (Usually using one is just fine)

Win-Condition:

There are several combos available;

 – The main win condition is Kun the Forgotten King -> Tyrantus, this being the simplest of them because they are 10 mana cards, which makes them highly likely to be in your hand during turn 10 because of the amount of draws since turn 1.

 – Tyrantus -> Innervate -> Sunfury Protector Is a safer play if you are low on HP and this also sets up a potential upgrade if you have a Menagerie Warden till next turn and Tyrantus survives with a decent amount of HP.

 – If your Tyrantus is dead or somehow gone you might have a Verdant Longneck and a Menagerie Warden left that could save you.

SUBSTITUTES:

 – Black knight will most likely be highly valuable in Un’Goro meta, having two or any Healing Touch is not that important because of the amount of armor and taunts you will receive but i put it in for now. Therefore replacing it with The Black Knight would be ok, mana-wise it is also good since there are a high amount of 2 and 3 mana minions.

 – This can be a good sub if the new meta will include decks with few minions, it will be good versus mage f.ex because it allows you to play your ramp spells without losing board

 – Lower stats defensive stats but higher offensive stats without the charge, although cheaper. Could be compared to a Sen'jin Shieldmasta with a beast tag. Uncertain of this change but could be interesting, at least its new and interesting.

Updating it again tomorrow.

I hope you will find this deck interesting and possibly have some constructive feedback that could improve the deck.

Yeah generally, but they cost too much to be as flexible as Healing Touch, as mentioned earlier though, they are completely replaceable. I just got them there temporary.
