I've tried Saronite Taskmaster, it was underwhelming and often was a nuisance with the 3 life taunt, often taking more than one swing with your weapon to clear so I avoided it. In your mulligan you want proactive drops and with coin, often fledgling.
I’m back with one of my favourite deck archetypes: Odd Rogue! I’ve hit multiple top 100 legend finishes since this deck became popular back in Witchwood and I’ve always tried to tinker around with it to give me the best possible deck! If everyone remembers, I made a version of odd rogue which featured Spiteful Smith and got as high as 2 legend! In this latest expansion, a few cards grabbed my attention and screamed odd rogue so I decided to give it a whirl and I’ve had immediate success so far reaching 38 legend, even though it is early in the season! It is the only deck i’ve played so far.
Standout cards include ornery tortoise, former champ and mosh’ogg! Ornery Tortoise is a high-stat minion that can act both offensive and defensive. Former champ gives you two bodies and 6/6 worth of stats and is a good deal. Later in the game it can act as a good fungal target or an extra cold blood body! Mosh’Ogg is a real cool card. He has aggressive stats and provides a good body, but his effect is really cool and provides an alternate game plan for your opponent. You want to kill it due to its 6 attack but they risk attacking a weaker token or something else!
Either way, it’s a fun take on odd rogue so far! Let me know what you think!
