Mulligans
I’m Tower607 and here is my Elemental C'Thun deck for casual or non-serious ladder players. This deck is built around buffing your C'Thun, playing elementals from the new Un’Goro set and utilizes Hemet, Jungle Hunter to get to your late game finishers.
EALY GAME GOALS
- The goal is to buff your C'Thun as early and as often as possible. Beckoner of Evil, Disciple of C'Thun, and Twilight Elder are all keepable cards for your opening hand.
- If you’re playing against an aggro deck, Doomsayer and Tar Creeper are big time life savers. They can be played as a combo on Turn 5 if you’re really falling behind on board.
REMOVAL
- Hellfire, Blastcrystal Potion, and Siphon Soul are the big clears for the deck. Don’t be afraid to use them on a mid sized minion turn 5-6 if needed.
- Mortal Coil and Disciple of C'Thun can also help remove some pesky minions early in the game.
- Harrison Jones for weapon removal and card draw.
ELEMENTALS
- Igneous Elemental, Servant of Kalimos, and Blazecaller provide an elemental element to the deck. Don’t hesitate to play them on even if they aren’t activated from a previous turn.
- Given the option, I would play your C’Thun buffs over the Elementals. The only exception is when you can play Blazecaller for the 5 damage removal.
- Hemet, Jungle Hunter is the MVP of the deck. I know Warlocks can life tap to draw through the deck, but Hemet in the middle to late in the game all but ensures you’ll draw your C’Thun in the next few turns to finish off your opponent.
POSSIBLE CHANGES
- Stonehill Defender for Tar Creeper
- Acidic Swamp Ooze for Harrison Jones
- Dirty Rat could help against aggro.
- Soulfire or Shadow Bolt if you want more removal.
- Tar Creeper for Servant of Kalimos
Thanks for checking out my deck. I hope you enjoy it!
