“Value” Warrior  — guide by TinSonSay

Mulligan:

– The cards to really look for are Acolyte of Pain and Blood Razor.

Gameplay:

– This deck wins by generating “endless value” and outlasting the opponent.

– Augmented Elekk: this card plus Baleful Banker essentially allows you to avoid fatigue entirely. With some luck, this combination also allows you to get “infinite” copies of any other minion in your deck, such as Lich King or Ysera.

– Dead Man’s Hand: like the Elekk/Banker combo, Dead Man’s Hand is here as another way to keep the deck filled with threats.

Pitfalls:

As always in my deck deck guides, I like to point out some of the pitfalls of the deck. By pitfalls I mean the ways for the deck to really fail at what it’s intended to do. These are things to watch out for…

– Burning/playing even a single copy of Augmented Elekk or Baleful Banker before executing the full combo can prevent the deck from going “infinite” in that manner. It’s essential to hold on to these minions in any match where fatigue is a possibility, thus rendering them dead cards in hand until that time comes.

– If Dead Man’s Hand is cast without the second copy of Dead Man’s Hand in the hand, the ability to go “infinite” through Dead Man’s Hand is lost.

– This deck is always playing from behind, that’s just how it is. Once you get the lead, though, you just about win.
