“Dollmaster Fatigue” Mage — guide by TinSonSay
Mulligan:
– The cards to really look for are Aluneth, Luna’s Pocket Galaxy, and Primordial Glyph.
Gameplay:
– Aluneth: this card is incredibly powerful in this deck. It allows you to freely deploy your defensive tools without any worry of running out of resources. To keep Aluneth from killing you, this deck features a slow but sure anti-fatigue strategy in the likes of Augmented Elekk and Baleful Banker.
– Augmented Elekk: this card plus Baleful Banker essentially allows you to avoid fatigue entirely. With some luck, this combination also allows you to get “infinite” copies of any other minion(s) in your deck, such as Carnivorous Cube and Charged Devilsaur.
– Dollmaster Dorian: with Aluneth equipped, this card gets interesting. You often luck into Beetles, taunts, and Doomsayers, as well as extra targets for Cube and Banker.
Pitfalls:
As always in my deck deck guides, I like to point out some of the pitfalls of the deck. By pitfalls I mean the ways for the deck to really fail at what it’s intended to do. These are things to watch out for…
– The deck packs limited AoE and comeback potential, so any opponent with a faster start could run away with the game.
– Burning/playing even a single copy of Augmented Elekk or Baleful Banker before executing the full combo can prevent the deck from going “infinite”. It’s essential to hold on to these minions in any match where fatigue is a possibility, thus rendering them dead cards in hand until that time comes.
