After playing a solid 20 games or so, the deck is very slow without Thalnos Bloodmage (Loot Hoarder is not a great replacement btw). Without the +1 SD and draw, it really hard to board clear against meta decks like pirate or aggro in general. Lack of healing and taunt make the matter ecen worse
In the short time that I’ve played the deck I’ve found it often times doesn’t even hit the stage where nzoth is necessary. As the finisher it’s a cornerstone of the deck but without the top end it can still win games on a frequent basis. Out of ~10 games nzoth has been relevant for me… Once? For replacing it maybe swap with a lower cost option like cairne or sylvanas since your opting not to be the best late anyway? Not completely sure tbh.
I would say it is totally important because the meta is full of Reno decks and N’Zoth helps you bring back your minions after all the board clears the control decks dish out. Will there be times you don’t need N’Zoth? Sure, but in control match ups, N’Zoth is crucial.
This deck is very slow and by the time you get to turn 10 you are dead. You are not going to want to take too much face damage with this deck and when you are getting blasted by aggro it’s lights out
Love this deck so far! so much fun to play. its a good mix of deathrattle, battle cry, and has a little bit of miracle thrown in as well. Surprisingly it pulls it off quite well! Cheers to the maker!!
Deck is definitely fun, it’s the first time I’ve actually ever wanted to use to unearthed raptors in a rogue deck. They don’t work with nzoth but brann plus raptor is great golem synergy.

Questing adventurer maybe is not the best alternative but it does have a similar efect for the same cost
It changes the deck composition a bit, but you can probably toss in 1 or 2 Shadow Strikes for non-golem cards, I run 2 SS in my N’Zoth Golem
