I was thinking maybe bone dragon since their deathrattles give you cards as well, but since they’re 6-drops thus might screw with the mana curve too much. Maybe those hunter minions that buff hand cards on deathrattle, they are 3-drops so they’d be a better replacement mana-wise I guess but maybe less useful. Thoughts?
Maybe corrupted loot hoarder for arfus? And the handbuff 3/3 could be ok, as long as you want to bring it back with N’Zoth. A low cost alternative could be 1 mana spell that triggers a minion’s deathrattle OR the 3 manna minion that does the same.
My suggestions don’t provide the same value as arfus or thalnos, but I think they’re OK for budget substitutions…
A final thought could be that new 4 manna bat that deals 2 damage AOE to enemies. Always nice to have AOE in a hunter deck!
