Deck Import

Big Priest is your best bet when taking on The Lich King if you’ve got the cards! The deck only plays minions it wants to revive with the exception of Barnes. Due to the Adventure allowing cards from Wild, you can run Resurrect in your Big Priest list which is a great addition to the deck as long as you don’t hit Barnes!

Mulligans

Barnes, Barnes, and Barnes… Did I mention Barnes? I’d consider just restarting until I got Barnes into my opening hand. You want him out of your deck so you don’t hit it with Shadow Essence, and you want a big minion to die for resurrection purposes as fast as possible. If you already have Barnes, you’ll want Shadow Word: Horror for the Frostmourne turn, Shadow Visions is good to give you your choice of spell, and Shadow Essence just to get another one of your big minions on the board as fast as possible.

The Lich King – Priest Play Strategy

You will generally do nothing until you play Barnes, or if you were brave and kept playing without him you’ll wait until you get to play Shadow Essence. Basically, you are looking to deal with the smaller annoying minions. Spirit Lash helps get you health and clear cheap minions, Shadow Word: Horror can clear the board (especially with Pint-Size Potion), but generally only use this if you have a way to clear the Frostmourne board (Dragonfire Potion & Spirit Lash). Shadow Word: Pain should also be used pretty early just to save yourself some health.

Once you have a minion worth reviving, it is time to really get punish TLK. Resurrect and Eternal Servitude give you ultimate minion power. You can also play these cards more than twice if you hit them with Shadow Visions. Eternal Servitude is better (especially if you’ve played Barnes), but Resurrect is cheaper. It really depends on which minion has died previously when you make your decision.

You’ll likely want a Shadow Word: Death after the Frostmourne board is clear because TLK tends to play Bonemare. You can also play around this by trading and making sure one of his minions doesn’t stick.

After you’ve got your resurrections working, you should be in control of the game and overwhelm him with your superior minions!

Any replacements you would reccomend? In particular, Yshaarj or Lich King?
