This is the control lock i played to high legend this season, really good in the meta.
The darkness is the mvp against razakus, jade druid and mirror match.
Against razakus is a instawin if play it before raza, against jade druid has really high chance to awaken because druid draw a lot also druid doesn’t have hard removal for a 20/20.
In mirror match is insane because the game Will go to fatigue so it 100% awake and at the moment other control lock don’t run syphon soul or twisting nether so they can’t remove it.
Giant and 2 faceless sucks because they are 4 dead cards against aggro and often not so strong in slow matchup, the darkness is only one card dead against aggro but is an mvp against control.
Stonehill>taldarm: give you a bit of value and some extra taunt against aggro.
Correction, it’s not a control deck, is an OTK combo deck (which obviously does not run hard removal).
In mirror match wins the fastest one. Against a true warlock control deck it can go to fatigue, if the opponent does a good job and are a lucky one, but that’s not the most common.
Either way, the list looks interesting.
For my esperience cubelock against control lock/mirror match goes to fatigue 99% of the time because is difficoult burst the opponent with all the taunt voidlord shenanigans
Against control you can not rush, the game needs more method, but Carnivorous Cube + Faceless Manipulator easily give you the victory. Plus, with Bloodreaver Gul’dan it’s overkill.
Controllock does’nt run Siphon ?? XD
