Deck Import

Hi guys, we just got fresh nerfs. They aimed also warlock, and this class together with control (many types) warrior are my favourite. I decided to make something a bit fresh that allows to climb ladder or simply have fun and has some high gound against fast decks.

NOTICE: pls follow UPDATES on the bottom of text.

NOTICE: I made deck after I first time logged into the game when nerfs were included (23.05.2018) – on the nerfs day. Many other players could came up with the same idea but I made this deck on my own and not as copied from the internet.

How it works? Control board with taunts and removal. There are also big targets removals included. Win con is depending the matchup: mill with Rin or kill with demons. That can be done with killing Rin and making demons for pressure. Guldan is good here to get back that power (Cube can also give 1 more demon) + hero power dmg. That worked for me since i’m aiming to clear board before going offensive. Reasoning for few key cards:

Dark Pact – heals if needed (only 4 now), cracks Rin/Voodoo Doll/Cube or Mindbreaker (if we don’t need him anymore).

Mindbreaker – shines against any portrait, could be game changer agains druids (spiteful), priests, hunters, slows down draw of warlock or prevents warrior from doing things (tank up – 4 armor or sulfuras 8 dmg hero power), slows down Baku rogue a bit. If we have a decent hand we also don’t need to loose hp from our own hero power so why not annoy opponent a bit? When needed we will kill him or crack with Dark Pact.

Carnivorous Cube – get double Voidlord/stronger demons from Rin (5/5, 6/6, 10/10), can be used to get additional taunt if needed (sometimes You may get Lich King or other value taunts from Stonehill Defender), Despicable Dreadlord is good target when facing very aggresive decks.

Despicable Dreadlord – Guldan brings him back for more damage and board control, can be target for Cube (more damage and board control), solid when facing fast decks based on small creatures.

Skull and Rin – only 1 thing, always think what is the way You want to win game. If You go for mill do not play Skull (she will put our demon into play and his battlecry won’t trigger = no library removal). If You on the other hand want to finish with demons then go for the Skull. They’re both superb tools but be smart with them. Use what You need.

UPDATES:

I noticed that healing is needed. Homunculus with Amethyst works good for me (and with Guldan). Ooze turned to must have to kill tempo mage weapon – Aluneth. Also Faceless is kinda ok here. In few games he won match by himself. Had to cut few cards. Notice that Spellbreaker was replaced with Owl (great for Defile setup and still silence). During games I got feeling that Voidlords don’t give me that much protection when I was rather in need of healing, also from time to time Skull was hard to play around with Rin (or the other way – depending on situation). Decision was to cut demon package, get 2 mana demons with taunt. Changes made also Cube useless, so it was also replaced. Deck now is less beatdown. It turned into control board, mill opponent and lock him with Mindbreaker if possible. Now it became less fun deck but rather ladder imho.
