Mulligans
It might seem all over the place. The point is to stall the early with Lightning Storm, Charged Hammer and Totem Golem, build up card advantage to be able to combo Summoning Stone and Violet Teacher to create board pressence. The win condition is flooding the board and Bloodlust.
About card choices:
Frost Shock helps stall their minions to keep yours and bloodlust.
Bloodmage Thalnos + Lightning Storm = insane board clear.
Feral Spirit + Summoning Stone = VALUE!
Rockbiter Weapon is good with Charged Hammer to clear high health minions during the mid game, or just on Violet apprentices and Totems.
Charged Hammer and Nexus-Champion Saraad have good synergy (Hero Power reset at turn 9 with Charged Hammer for 2 spells), and Nexus-Champion Saraad just synergizes well with the deck for the extra spells.
I just want a deck with this idea to work so any suggestions are appreciated. Btw it will work on the Standard Format
Charged hammer replacement?
Charged hammer is there for the early minions, but mainly for the synergy with Nexus Champ, and the fact that summoning totems is actually a setback in the late game, since your board is gonna be flooded all the time. But if you dont wanna craft it you can go for mechanical yeti, a decent 4 drop that gives you a spell, I’ve also thought about doble unbound elemental because of the excessive overload. Any good 3-4 mana minion does the job.
Thanks, the double unbound sounds good, will go for the yeti for starters
Hi, nice deck ! Can we replace the legendary cards with something else ?
Yes, Thalnos for Kobold Geomancer, because thalnos is there to combo with the lightning storm. And Nexus Champ is pretty essential, but it could go for Dr. Boom, since they’re both 7 mana drops, or maybe even Loatheb to protect your huge board from aoe. If you do change Saraad also change Charged Hammer since it wouldn’t make sense anymore (Read comment above for options ^).
How about Farsight?
I thought about it, but theres no cards worth reducing except nexus champ, low chance anyways, plus reducing spells also reduces the mana cost of the minion summoned by Summoning Stone. But may be worth trying for the extra spell.
I thought about it, but the only card worth reducing would be Nexus Champ(very low chances). On the other hand, reducing the cost on a spell also reduces the mana cost on the minion summoned by the Stone.
But might be worth trying.
