Mulligans
General Mulligans
At first glance, this mulligan list looks very basic, with some cards that quite simply cost very little. However, three cards seem very out of place in this mulligan.
- Cabalist's Tome: This card is in this list for no purpose other than that it's a good source for spells, which are very important in such a risky deck.
- Frost Giant: It's weird to see a 10-drop in the mulligan list, but with luck and skill you can play this for just a few mana relatively early game before your opponent draws that Rag he's been hiding away.
- Maiden of the Lake: Despite being a 4-drop, this card can save you at the minimum 1 mana per turn, helping to reach the goal of Hero Powering once per turn and having a combo with Justicar Trueheart, Fallen Hero, and Coldarra Drake to do a ton of damage and reap the Inspire benifits!
Has this ever happened to you? You’re playing some Tempo or Control Mage, and you suddenly you realize that you need two damage, but Fireblast can only give you one? Well, now it can! This deck is built solely around the Inspire mechanic, and has cards that will not only activate when Hero Power is used, but will enhance it! Imagine, if you will, a four damage Ping that costs one Mana and can be used infinitely.. Forty damage in one turn, followed by all of the effects of Inspire minions that are on board and by the two Frost Giants in your hand that now cost zero.
Quite Inspiring, is it not?
(Sidenote- there are two Cabalist’s Tomes in this deck so that you have some source of spells.)
