Mulligans

General Mulligans

Plated beetle is your only early game minion and it is better to play it on turn 2. You may want to have 1 weapon as the game starts, necrium blade is better than shadowblade on earlier turns as it can provide some health recovery while shadowblade battlecry can be used better on later turns. rotten applebaun is very great as a tempo play and valeera most of the time is great to play as soon as posible. Given the match you can also mulligan fot skulking geist.

Aggro Mulligans

having your plated beetle is more important against aggro decks. doomsayer is also a very good opener against flooding decks. Having one of your weapons is really important vs tempo decks, and blade flurry is a good keep vs any kind of aggresive deck, as you will easily topdeck a weapon (or deadly poison) on your first draws in case you dont have one.

Midrange Mulligans

mid point in between aggro and control, you want to keep the enemy board cleared, but you still want to save value for the late game.

Combo Mulligans

Pretty hard matchup, as combo decks most of the time beats control. Just dont be greedy and push for damage.

Control Mulligans

plated beetle its not that important in this matchup, but its always good to play it at tempo. in this case shadowbalde is better than necrium blade on earlier turns, as the value of the second one can be much better on later turns. Vs control decks you want to play valeera as soon as posible, given the match you can even mulligan for her.

This is a very control oriented rogue deck featuring spellstone. Ive been trying this decks for a couple of days before the expansion (then i added some cards). This deck works by controling the early turns by clearing the enemy board while taking the less damage posible. This deck features some cards that some may rate as bad cards (Violet Haze, Lesser Onyx Spellstone, Blade Flurry), but in a control deck they make more sense.

Comments on cards:

The weapon package: Shadowblade is a very good tool vs agressive-tempo decks as it can kill an early enemy minion without taking damage and maybe set up for a blade flurry next turn if needed. Necrium Blade meanwhile is a very flexible tool, triggering a Plated Beetle or Rotten Applebaum can be equivalent to playing a shadowblade; you can also trigger Shallow Gravedigger for value or Cursed Disciple on curve to push damage, this card itself triggers spellstone.
Blade Flurry has been tagged as a bad card since its nerf, and it may be a bad card, but it was indirectly buffed by the addition of a second 3/2 weapon for the class.
Deadly Poison is very flexible and adds a lot of options and consistency to the kit; it can be used for just another 3/2 weapon for both damage and Blade Flurry, it can also be used on shadowblade to exploit its battlecry, or use it on any weapon to upgrade blade flurry (can be used twice with Shadow Reflection). Remember you can also get to play Frostmourne.

Doomsayer is a very good tool in any control deck and it can save you from all kind of agressive matches. Plated Beetle and Rotten Applebaum are very good to keep at decent amount of health in aggresive matches and Cursed Disciple can be useful vs slow combo decks.

Shallow GravediggerViolet Haze and Myra Rotspring are the value cards, adding a lot of deathrattle minions to your hand wich dont necesarily need to be the best deathrattle minions but theyre enough to keep having minions on your hand and board as the game goes on latets turns. Shallow Gravedigger can be played at tempo though its mostly a value card, it has really good sinergy with spellstone.
Violet Haze is such a tempo loose, and usually you dont want to play  it on turn 3, it is better for the moment youre getting out of cards. Myra Rotspring isnt actually a great card, but as the game goes on having a specific deathrattle minion can be useful.

Valeera the Hollow may be your best card in this deck as she generates a lot of value just by her hero power. All the value cards (Shallow Gravedigger, Violet Haze, Myra Rotspring, Spiritsinger Umbra) get really strong when played twice. the Greater Onyx Spellstone also gets really strong as a 10 mana enemy board clear. Rotten Applebaum also gets really obnoxious when played twice, and even assasinate or Doomsayer can be meaningful in given situations.

Skulking Geist is a card ive always liked to play in slow decks, and with the new expansion theres a couple of 1-cost spells that are good targets (Omega Assembly, floop's glorious goop). Burning your own Deadly Poisons is not that an issue; if theyre on your hand just play them before, and if theyre on your deck you maybe wont want to topdeck them anyways.

Tess Greymane is a very questionable adition as it is a card you want to hold until the very end on the game to ressummon the possible non-rogue class deathrattle minions you played through the game.

Replacements and extra cards.

Eviscerate or Backstab in case you dont have Doomsayer.
Tomb Lurker instead of Myra Rotspring.
Vilespine Slayer over Assassinate; though i found combo cards hard to pull in this deck, also vilespine doesnt sinergise with Shadow Reflection.
One or two copies of Fan of Knives in case youre strugglin against flooding decks (Can be played over a Deadly Poison or a Shadowblade).
Deranged Doctor in case you dont have The Lich King.
Skulking Geist and Tess Greymane can be cut in case you dont have or dont want to play them. Just add common rogue cards or good deathrattles.
