Mulligans
Wild Paladin deck focused on apply and duplicating stat buffs such as Libram of Wisdom through cards like Kotori Lightblade and The Voraxx, with Yogg-Saron, Hope's End as a late-game “finisher” to cash in.
Mulligan should focus on getting at least one or two of the Aldor Attendant or Knight of Anointment, as well as a cheap buff spell such as Hand of A'dal or one of the Libram of Wisdom. Kotori Lightblade is also a good card to keep, but should not be played without at least one other buff to apply unless you know he cannot be removed in the interim.
I find the best results with this deck when buffs are played aggressively and less emphasis is placed on minion trades unless the opponent is a deck that struggles with non-minion-based removal.
Changelog ——
7/17/22
Prior to this update I tested a Renathal variant with extra cards such as Lightray and some extras of existing one-ofs, but the lack of draw consistency made a strong lategame against removal-heavy decks tough. This was mainly due to missing a good way to get Yogg-Saron, Hope's End in hand by then, but the solution would still be 2 cards among a dilute deck pool, and given the deck’s tendency to win better when played more earlygame-heavy, the extra cards were dropped and the following change was made:
- Removed Ring of Courage x1
- Added Taelan Fordring x1
6/20/22
- Removed Crystology x1, Stonehearth Vindicator x1, Consecration x1
- Added Myrmidon x2, The Garden's Grace x1
