Aggro Budget
I make a ton of expensive decks, and that happens because of their late game control/burst style. This Aggro Overload Shaman deck list is great for new players. My personal favorite story with this deck is when I first played it in Standard (rotation and Un’Goro hadn’t happened yet) I was getting tired of Wild at the moment, so I went to standard and managed to climb from rank 21 to 15 in 45 minutes (I obviously I went on a win streak). The greatest advantage with this deck over other decks is the curve-out potential. The dream scenario is when on turn 1 you get to coin out 2 Tunnel Trogg followed up by Totem Golem, and if you think you are done yet, playing Feral Spirit just as they just start to put their first guys on the board, and you can seal the game on the spot because now our board has possibly 2 4/3’s, 2 3/4’s, and 2 2/3’s with taunt… Drop a Bloodlust turn 5 and you just smacked them in the face for an OTK amount of damage (36 saying nothing died). This of course rarely happens… What tends to happen more is you can control the board using your spells and an Unbound Elemental. While he grow larger with health and clears out the taunts so you can go face with your troggs. I’ll go briefly over how to mulligan for this deck.
Mulligans
The only cards you really want in your starting hand are Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, Feral Spirit, and Unbound Elemental.
Cards to keep everytime
- Tunnel Trogg
- Just an insanely broken card
- Totem Golem
- Just like Trogg insanely good
- Unbound Elemental
- The 3-mana Golem that just gets bigger
- Feral Spirit
- The only taunt in the whole deck, in case you don’t draw low drop you need them to stall
Keep only if certain conditions are met
- Jade Claws
- You need a trogg or a Flamewreathed Faceless
- Flametongue Totem
- Keep only if you have Trogg, Golem, or Spirits
- Flamewreathed Faceless
- Keep if you have Trogg and Jade Claws/Golem
- Any removal spell
- Kind of the opposite, but only keep one in starting hand (doesn’t include Jade Lightning, toss it)
