Mulligans
General Mulligans
Estabilishing a quick board presence can force an opponent to use their removal early. Usually mulligan for a divine shield/rallying blade if possible. Tar creeper is great. Always keep a Spiteful Summoner. Sunkeeper can be great if you can outpace your opponent and claim the board. Once you can drop a spiteful turn 5/6 it should swing the game drastically.
Aggro Mulligans
Try to get some taunt on the board fast. Having a weapon in your opening hand can go a long way to slow down aggro. Divine Shield with Rallying Blade can get you off to a good start. Hopefully you can keep the board light until turn 6 when you can drop a Spiteful or Avenging Wrath
A spin off of spiteful priest. Multiple win conditions. Blood Knight can get really beefy quick and Spiteful can pull an 8 cost swing of pain. An early game Prince can give quick board advantage. Weapons and divine shield trickery can give you early board advantage. Uther/Lay on Hands/Dinosize can give you late game push.
Added 2x Gluttonous Ooze to help with cube warlock and kingslayer rogue decks.
Why Wax Elemental? It’s only good if you get Keleseth at the start
It synergies with Blood Knight. You can use them to push past the early game aggro and if not dealt with and you pull a blood knight. Your can get an early 10/10 or more on the board.
Its also the only other 1 drop with divine shield. Its isn’t amazing… it gets better with Keleseth like you said… but its main purpose is to combo on Blood Knight as a 1 cost or just sponge up early aggro damage.
Added Uther to help with late game. Added a Blood Knight. These guys are vicious if they don’t eat an early removal/silence. Also removed Crystal Lions…wasn’t liking them with the deck theme. Took out an Avenging Wrath to guarentee an 8-drop spell for Summoner and trying a Steward in its place to combo with the hero ability for more divine shield early on.
