Skeleton Mage MaCN

Part 4/10 in my theorycraft and one of the spicier takes, I think skele mage is actually a pretty good, if not great deck. The main issue with the deck is the introduction of theotar, and how widespread he will be. Outside of that, Solid alibi, Nightcloak sanctum, and suspicious alchemist are extremely strong cards added to mage. A lot of people don’t seem to understand that solid alibi is 2 mana become cariel for a turn, and sivara can potentially add two more alibis to your hand. Maybe renethal variations of this deck will exist, and if so I think you’ll probably see two runed orbs and two school teachers to try to max out the freeze/stall potential of the deck. The OTK is Kael’thas + Brann + Kel’Thuzad and there is a ton of stall to get us there. Zola is here simply because multicaster, sivara, varden, and parrot are all strong copies. Maybe renethal may see more play in this deck, but I think the non-renethal version is the way to play.
