Hey thanks for sharing this deck. I only wish I had the mana to craft dreadknight and drake, but I’m curious about Doomsayer and umbra being in your deck, and Oakheart too.
Seeing as you already have UI, have you thought about using the Spite tactic? I know this would mean dropping Naturalize and your other spells, but recruiting a 10 cost minion on T6 more than makes up for this. Greedy Sprite brings more early game strength than wild growth too.
Here’s the cube taunt deck I’m currently running at lvl 16. It is quite pricey but so far I’ve won 16 of 20 games with it. Any suggestions and comments would be much appreciated.
hey iam in rank 15 atm.. i know i know… i could craft it with some replacements (Lich king, umbra and oakhert)…
it seems pretty fun and strong to me but i dont know. this is all dust i have left so i dont want to waste it.
So as iam facing a lot of aggro decks in this rank, do you guys think, that i should craft it?
its true that this deck feels hopeless against Shudderwock shaman or mage with double polymorph. But it has amazing matchup agaisnt basically any hunter, paladin, warlock and warrior, and a okay matchup with priest. tempo rogue is a tough one tough as taunt druid keeps falling behind in tempo.
The only mage decks running Poly are non-agro control decks like BigSpell. You cant polymorph the spider, you never get the chance. You can polymorph some taunt minions so they can’t be summoned back, but you can only do two, and depending on the deck you can have anywhere between 8-10 taunt minions for druid. Every taunt minion brought back also counts, so the second time the spider is killed (by the cube) even more are revived.
Best bet as a mage/shaman with poly/hex is to save them for the strongest taunt minions, IE Lich King, Drake, and Rotten Apple. Then pray you’ve created enough space for you to somehow win.
Oh I dunno – I had a terrible draw earlier with Hadronox and Oakheart in hand and I didn’t draw Tar Creeper or Saronite Chain Gang before turn 9… but by playing Oakheart I got him, those 2 taunts and Umbra – and Umbra survived until the next turn so when I played Hadronox I got both the Chain Gang and Creeper back…
… ready to drop a Cube next turn, but my opponent quit.
Overdraws opponents with Naturalize, while maintaining the board with taunt minions so you never get a chance to attack face. Bonus overdraw using Lich Kings steal an enemy minion card from the deck when its generated.
Never get a chance to hex/poly the spider either, it is naturalised the same turn its summoned, and when its revived using witching hour, it gets cubed the same turn, then naturalised into two more spiders. There is not enough board clear in the game to deal with this combo. You need an agro deck with well timed silences to win, and you need to do it before they get to turn 10 and draw the combo.
I play odd Warrior and while I agree that taunt druid vs warrior is not a good matchup for the druid it is still possible to keep enough board clear to take care of 3 spiders and 3 board full of taunt at wich point the druid is left without enough reach to close the game. Double brawl double reckless fury is just too much. I just won a game vs taunt druid exactly this way, here is the replay (https://hsreplay.net/replay/5CK4KAbNe5aTqDRmcT5mw7). This is a really strong deck tough but i think it’s not as overwhelmingly powerful against heavy board clear oriented control decks as you think.
Well you have a 50% chance, but yeah, it’s pretty bad. However, this deck already has poor matchups against slow Mage and combo Shaman because it’s a slower deck; against Tempo Mage or Even Shaman it’s rare to get to a point where you need more then one Hadronox Swing (if you end up needing one at all).

How can I win this deck with cubelock? I dont whether I should try to kill druid as fast as possible or to grind for value
When you build your defenses, neither the cubelock nor control wizard wins. The problems is agrro decks.

I fail to see how this deck has problems vs Mage.

the problem is that witching hour has a chance to revive the sheep rather than hadronox.
wow! thanks man i didnt know this 🙂
and the frog as well..
as qwarrior, you can get cornered sentry out of your stonehill defenders for the same purpuse (3 1/1 beast raptors for the enemy)
Why Umbra in this deck?
It is not very good with Oakheart …

Deck is free win vs control decks.

Not a good matchup for the warrior is what i meant >.> I just managed to say the exact opposite, the point is there is still a way to win !
Don’t forget Psychic Scream from Priest lol
Hex and Polymorph are not the problems – against mage und shaman you just have to naturalize your hadronox….
it is when u try to summon back ur hadronox the polly or hex is a problem.. u will end up with a sheep or a frog instead

Then you cube it before that happens. It’s an 8 manna play that tends to end with them hitting conceding.
Polymorph is hilarious against this deck. Just when they think they are reanimating a hardinox they are tormented with the feint sound of “BAAAAH!”
same againt shaman with hex xD
