Can someone explain to me the point of earthen might? I mean if it’s as simple as +2/+2 for 2 on curve after your turn 1 totem then fine, I just don’t see how it’s more beneficial than a 2 drop of some sort without the elemental synergies (I understand al’akir is an elemental, mind you)
if you loose board you loose game, only 2x hex for removal.
earthen might helps you pick good trades, also curves out very well with your consistant 1 drop totem.

It’s pretty much just that, think baby Blessing of Kings.
Vicious scalehide, Al’akir, Argent commander and Corpsetaker are excellent targets for Earthen Might.

Which makes cutting the axes really weird since tempo is king.
He said that he likes to use it to play around dusk breaker.
