I can also cube my taunts (Ironwood Golem, Rotten Applebaum or Primordial Drake) to generate more, but it is unecessary after the first Hadronox.
I don’t think you can fit it in the deck, first because you really don’t want bluegill or any other low mana chargers to be pulled. Second because you are almost guaranteed to have your argent die before you can cast Splintergraft on him.
Keep in mind that there is a burst damage win condition here, like with cubelock. The 1x Druid of the Claw can charge + cube + naturalize for 12 damage.
Hmm, but that’s only if you have either coin or if you add innervates to the deck, as that combo (which honestly for 12 dmg is very meh) costs 11 mana.
Like the idea but can confirm a few things said above. I would do the following after a few plays:
-1 UI
+Ixlid
-1 Ooze
+ gluttonous ooze (the 5 mana ooze)
-2 Wild growth (have never needed it even when I could play it honestly)
+ ???
Technically one could include Keleseth then, since there are no 2 drops, but I don’t know about that.
I think +2 branching paths could do the trick here, even though there are no 2 drops at all in there then.
Another alternative could be 2 witchwood apples so you have a few treants against faster decks.
-1 Cube
+ Lich King OR the new druid legendary that lets you pick up a 10 mana 10/10 copy of a minion.
And last but not least I could imagine that the Druid of the claw is not really a game changer, as I have never encountered any situation in which he saved the day; I could be wrong here, but maybe Dollmaster Dorian would add a little more value. However, together with him I imagine that it would make sense to include more card draw, for example by replacing the wild growth with the forest guide instead. If the game goes to fatigue, that is also a good portion of damage, as you will keep drawing your tigers and the opponent will take more damage.
This is all theoretical and just addresses a few of the things I found but maybe one of you more seasoned players can give me some feedback about these changes? I am going to try them, of course, but this is my first rotation as a player and I am struggling a little with finding my way back into the game right now, so I can’t really play well anyway at the moment…
Thinking about it, maybe Oakheart could have a spot in this deck, too, just not sure what changes would be needed to make it feasible. He could take the place of the grizzled guardian, but he needs better minions to draw with 2 attack. Hadronox as only minion with 3 attack is fine, though, as that’s why I would want him.
May I suggest my version of this deck that I have been fine tuning lately? It’s fairly similar but the way you want it to go is to play “spirit singer umbra” into “witching hour” and the deck itself isn’t as taunt focused.

As for strategy, well whatever fits the situation, often times I try to use the baleful banker on umbra to give me more combo chances against lategame decks like cubelock, while against baku hunter you just use it as a 2/2 body a lot of the time. Malfurion is strictly as a good card against ex bakuhunter, against slower decks you might never play him as you want witching hour to hit your grizzled guardian.
The thing that makes the combo strong is that when you play umbra into witching, you instantly get your 2 tigers that then also get new copies into your deck which can be pulled when your guardian dies. If you are so lucky that umbra stays on the board or is pulled by your guardian, then you can play witching hour plus cube to get a very over saturated board xD
(umbra, cube, tiger, tiger, guardian, guardian, tiger, + 3 tigers that can’t be spawned)

I did play it quite a bit ye, if you are playing on Eu servers then it’s quite likely that it was me as I have not seen anyone else playing my version of the deck.
I would say no at the moment. Hadronox hasn’t really been used until now because Druid had much better decks before the rotation. I would wait and see how the meta develops alongside Druid before you craft Hadronox. It’s a pretty cool legendary, but it fulfills a niche deck type.
What is the point of running 2 ‘Ultimate Infestation’ here? The deck’s only win condition is fatigue and I don’t see how it’s possible to fatigue someone after drawing 10 cards. Even with cube on Astral Tiger’s I am struggling to ever find a way to use my second Infestation and it just becomes a 10 mana dead card.
You do not expect to play both Ultimate Infestations, but it fairly important to draw it early. It’s like when Kingabane Rogue ran two Leeching Poisons.
Killing Hadronox with the Cube is hilarious and so is Cubing Astral Tigers. My only complaint is the Ooze. I feel like one of the more expensive weapon removers is better, cause pulling the Ooze out with Oaken Summons HURTS
This deck is ridiculously fun. It is a value deck, many people wonder what the win condition is since there is no massive combo or such here. The win condition is setting up impenetrable walls and hitting from behind them with medium sized minions like Astral Tigers. You automatically win fatigue with the Tigers as well. I often win by Carnivorous Cube-ing my own Hadronox after my opponent decides not to kill it themselves.
I have seen comments about the 1/5 scarabs as well, the answer is obvious IMO. Spreading Plague and Malfurion are late game panic buttons in this deck, you do NOT play them on curve or else you taint the beast pull for Witching Hour. You can still play them if you’re going to lose, but the plan is to not need them until you have played both Witching Hours.
Baleful Banker is a decent addition… as long as you draw before you play your oaken summons. I dropped the wild growth because the games always seem to run long anyways.
What is the win condition for this deck? I played something similar and felt like I lose steam at some point in the mid to late game, and its not clear how I could swing the board back. Big taunts are problematic – you only have the 2 naturalizes.

Witching hour is kinda useless here since it can easily pull one of the 1/5 scarabs. Running 2 copies of branching paths and some other AoE buffs like power of the wild.

What do you think about adding Bluegill warrior as a cheap charge to combo with Splintergraft to get a 10/10 charge as a win condition?
Or maybe Argent Commander so its not proced by oaken summons and also has the benefit of divine shield

Whichwood Grizzley is also a great pull with Oakheart.

Save one Naturalize for Hadronox, get a board back of big taunts. Druid does a big problem with single target removal though.
