All in all I really like the deck. I even beat a cube lock who got both voidlords and skull on 5. Granted I hit both divine favors early which did wonders. Also a kangor plays pretty nicely here.
Like people say, shouldn’t need lifesteal if all goes well, but it can be really nice when you do.
Tarim + Vinecleaver act as finishers in this deck. There is no need for Leeroy, especially since we don’t run Blessing of Might. Leeroy also clogs the hand for Divine Favor. I doubt you wanna play Leeroy in the mid game, so its a card that is stuck in your hand preventing another card draw from Divine Favor.
One of the worst things you can do to this deck. Sunkeeper is one of the main win conditions in this deck. if you want lifesteal, replace Argent Squire with Crystalsmith Kangor.
Sunkeeper is very essential to this deck, to any paladin deck not named odd. Best replacement would be Fungalmancer, you can keep Vancleaver, although Tarim is what makes Vancleaver great,
If I could make 1 suggestion. Add 1xCrystalsmith Kangro. Its just a solid minion. This way your Corpsetakers can also have Lifesteal. Just remove 1xSquire. Everything else seems decent.
Actually I replaced 1 Fungalmancer in my build for Argent Squire, to improve Call to Arms and Corpsetaker consistency. Then i think Kangor might be better since it is pretty much the same, plus gives a Lifesteal. don’t think 1 mana difference plays a big role. Although as you said, you won’t need Lifesteal in this deck too often, but sometimes it can help. I’ll test what is better.
You might be suprised that even aggro decks can benefit from life. Especially, since the deck runs weapons. You will hit minions with them to get board control. And in a aggro race battle, life lead may matter. Besides, kangor is superior to squire in most games. But do whatever you like. This deck has alot of room for optimization. Eventho the creator hit top legend. Small sample sizes in this game mean pretty much nothing. Have fun and enjoy tweaking.
It has its chances against most of the deck of the current meta around rank 4 to 2. Hunter is good matchup (I had some difficulties against midrange hunter). I only encounter one odd rogue who destroyed me but to be fair he/she had a hell of a curve. it is also in favor position againt odd paladin (hello call to arms)
For the other loss it was against a clone priest.
Explanation to most OP card of the deck:
It is activator for Corpsetaker first and foremost. Stormwatcher is a better minion than Thrallmar Farseer obviously, but this is an aggressive deck with 2 Divine Favor, you want to empty your hand to get the most value out of Divine Favor. The lighter the deck the better are your Divine Favor. So lighter Windfury activator is much better in this deck. Not to mention even if you draw it, it might act as a big threat similar to Vicious Fledgling which you can follow up with Blessing of Kings or Fungalmancer (In my build) with coin.
I was original creator of this deck. I went 32-11 with it into rank 4 legend the first day of the season. So at least give it a mention. Took out sunkeeper and added zilliax for the corpsetaker.
Zilliax is a control card. This is an aggro deck. Taunt and windfury is enough for corpsetaker.

aggro decks don’t need lifesteal. If you are getting hit enough to make any use of healing, you probably are playing the deck wrong.

Only lost to Odd Rogue cause it got Avenging Wrath on the Fox, otherwise I believe it’s favored too.
Priest is an unfavored matchup (about 60-40). Odd Warrior is a bad one.
