Secret Galakrond Rogue (Season Ashes of Outland)

I combined the Galakrond Pack with the Secret Pack. 

Because I think this is a better combination than with stealth and I won´t spend money for the new expansion. 

I think it synergizes very well, especally if you play the secrets right. (read down below) 

For the curve I decided to play with two Pharaoh Cats  instead of a second EVIL Miscreant and Devoted Maniac .

Value: You play  value cards like Wondrous Wand and Galakrond, the Nightmare), also Pharaoh Cat give you some reborns and sometimes you get a Draconic Lackey , so you have rarely a problem with value. 

Tempo: like every gala rogue its very high, but the secret package slows tempo a bit compared without the secret package,  which is a downside of this deck.(upsides read down below) 

Win condition/Power: You can end the opponents carrer in many many ways: Heistbaron Togwaggle , Edwin VanCleef , Galakrond, the Nightmare , Kronx Dragonhoof are good ways to win a game. The fact that Leeroy Jenkins rotated to the Hall of Fame hurts a lot in this deck. 

Plays: 

Why with secrets? You have a better removal tools, ugly secrets and a unexpection christmas tree play which can destroy the opponents strategy and play. 

– Play the Secrets only in combination with Blackjack Stunner or Shadowjeweler Hanar, you have “only” 4 secrets you can play. So make sure that the combination works. If you have two secrets in hand, you can surely play one secret. But dont be afraid you always get a secret to combine it with the combo cards, 4 secrets are not to less secrets. (I tried it many times) second reason to hold your secrets back is that the secrets are get triggered very fast.

–Ambush: It is a filler card to combine it with the secret combo cards, often its not so strong and it get removed pretty quick. 

Bamboozle: Play it Bamboozle with all the expensive cards with low stats(EVIL Miscreant, Flik Skyshiv, Faceless Corruptor). It`s very hard for the opponent to remove these minions without attacking it. 

– Why not with Dirty Tricks?

two reasons: I tried it and removed it because 1. most of the time you draw to many cards and overvalue your hand. 2. I replaced these cards with more important cards. firstly Backstab, so you can remove some problematic early cards from aggro decks like Battlefiend and you can combine it with your combo cards. and secondly Khartut Defender to slows the opponents play a bit and it can heal you (also a good (0) cost draw and bamboozle target) 3. You have still enough secrets to play it with the secret combo cards. 

– Blackjack Stunner is the best removal card I´ve ever played, because the sapped cards cost two more. So let´s compare it with Freezing Trap , you can play around that very often because you can control which card get sapped with that trap. But with Blackjack Stunner YOU have the choice which card get sapped, for example you sap a card with 9 or 10 mana, then it is absolute useless for the oppenent, so if you play it right in a good momentum it can decide games. (But don´t hold it back, when you can sap and slows the opponents game, do it) Also you can sap a warden from Magtheridon. This is a absolute key card and the first reason why you hold secrets back. 

– Shadowstep is a great tool in this deck, maybe you sap two instead of one (Blackjack Stunner), you invoke two times, you get two treasure or activate two Kronx devastation.

– Shadowjeweler Hanar is the perfect minion for the unexpection in this deck. Combine it with your secrets and make sure that you maximise his effect. at the DISCOVER, if you have one mana left, always take the pala secret. You can build a wonderful christmas tree. This card can be really crazy, your opponent will get very nervous if you have a Christmas tree and the second reasons to hold your secrets back. 

– Lackeys: play it like last expansion with some particularities… 

-> Titanic Lackey : taunt the expensive cards with low stats and combine it with bamboozle to provoke a attack on this minions (It´s very hard for the opponent to play around that) Ambush is also great to protect your Poisonous Ambush. 

-> Faceless Lackey : dont combine it with Bamboozle , so you get a lower effect if he attacks it. Especially its very obvious for the opponent to know which secret you played. 

-> Draconic Lackey : At the DISCOVER don´t pick battlecrys, the counter card for Boompistol Bully . This card is the Achilles tendon for this deck. Make sure that you can play around that counter.

– Siamat is a personal Choice from me, it´s very flexible, a good bamboozle target and a good (0) cost draw.

– (0) cost draws: you dont play the zero cost draws to get a 10 mana super minion. You play the zero cost draws to get the good combinations, often you get a secret combination which is  super cheap (for example for Shadowjeweler Hanar you can discover more secrets), Edwin VanCleef combinations and so on.

– Heistbaron Togwaggle: Play Heistbaron Togwaggle on turn 6 with lackey on board or turn 7 without lackey on board, always choose Wandrous Wand for combinations and value. rarely you have to choose Zarog´s Crown, If you have to less cards in deck or to many cards in hand OR!!! If you play against demon hunter you can try it with Zarogs because his removals are always “deal damage” based to pressure him a lot. 

And try to don´t play deathrattles (exception: Khartut Defender) , it´s often not good for the synergy in this deck. 

Alternatives Cards/Side Deck: 

If you dont want to play with Khartut Defender or Siamat , you can replace it with Bad Luck Albatross or Boompistol Bully, both are a great in every deck. To counter Highlander Decks and Battlecry Decks a bit. 

I´m not sure if I have the right 1-mana cost minion (Pharao Cat, it is good for value but not good to remove aggro cards. Maybe I need more tempo and combo cards then I will use Bloodsail Flybooter, maybe I need more power/attack then I will use Spymistress. I will update it when I know which 1-mana cost minion is the best. 

I hope I made a good a deck, which can compete with other decks. This is my first deck which I build completely alone. I play hearthstone since 9 months and I always used some decks from others. I build this deck because I own many gala rogue cards and I don´t want to pay money in this expansion, I can only pay one of the two new rogue packs and I decided for the secret pack…
