Mulligans
The Exodia win-condition
This deck roughly plays like the typical control paladin style, but with an added win condition against decks that can’t be “grinded out” or decks that kills you before you can grind them out (i.a. Razakus Priest).
The only cards that differentiate this deck from an ordinary control paladin are basically the additions of Burgly Bully and Auctionmaster Beardo.
In order to excute the Exodia win from en empty board you need to:
1) Have played Uther of the Ebon Blade in a previous turn
2) Have Auctionmaster Beardo and at least 2 Coins and a paladin secret in hand.
If a horseman survives a turn, you can execute the exodia kill with just 2 coins or a coin and a paladin secret.
Please note: If your going 2nd and have the Coin, you need to establish fairly early on what your win condition will be. If it is Exodia you should really try to keep the Coin.
Jade Druid
Win condition: Exodia or out-tempo
The Jade Druid is a good matchup with multiple win conditions. If the Jade Druid’s curve is bad with very little ramp, you can often out-tempo them and kill them with spikeridged buffed Burgly Bullies and big threats like ragnaros, tirion and the death knight. However, if the druid goes toe-to-toe with you on tempo or win the tempo game, you should switch your game plan to stall-tactics and gather your Exodia combo pieces.
Razakus Priest
Win condition: Exodia or out-tempo
The Razakus Priest is an even match-up, which usually comes down to whoever can gather his combo pieces first. I usally mulligan aggressively for combo pieces (Uther, Hydrologist, Burgly Bully, Auctionmaster). Especially Burgly Bully is often a hero is this match up as the priest has difficulty removing it and is scared to cast too many spells as it may enable your exodia OTK. In some games you might be able to out-tempo the priest with Burgly Bullies and Spikeridged Steeds and finish them off with swings from Ashbringer or Uther, however, more often than not your only real win condition is Exodia.
It is important to note that early and mid-game pressure usually will require the priest to spend more cards than they want to, and thus, slowing down their win condition even if they draw raza on 5 and Anduin on 8. The lack of cards in the priest hand will give you more time to assemble your own combo.
Keleseth aggro decks
Win condition: Survive!
These match-ups are generally in your favor as this deck has many early game defensive tools (Doomsayer, Righteous Protector, Hydrologist, Rallying Blade, Aldor Peacekeeper, Stonehill Defender, Wickerflame Burnbristle ) and board clears with Equality. If you manage to live to turn 8+ the aggro deck is usually low on cards and will concede when you slam down a Tirion or Rag. Of course, sometimes you wont draw your answers and will get run over, but my winrate against these decks are at least around 60 %.
Another thing to note: Currently every opponent will mulligan to beat Murloc Paladin. I have played 100+ games with this deck and still havent played a mirror.
