I’ve gone 15-2 with this deck and decided to give it a post… obviously needs more testing, but so far is quite strong.
The diea of the deck is to be as stivcky as possible, with a combination of divine shield and deathrattle, your board is extremely difficult to clear in the early game. Then you can drop your bombs late game.
Until turns 4-5, you play for board control, which you should have no problem winning unless you get a bad hand. Your turn 5 drop is sludge or a faceless on to a divine shielded minion. Faceless can also be used late game to copy an opponents threat or double up sylvanna or kel thuzad (I’m still testing with faceless, but so far he’s quite unexpected in the meta and can really pour on the pressure if you hit the right target.
A well placed redemption can be a game winner, which is why there is two of them. They can be used early game on a minibot or mad scientist, or late game on sludge or sylvana or even piloted.
The other thing I’ve considered with this deck is to go highlander, as it’s close to it and could add reno, but I think it would sacrifice the early game stability.
Another consideration that needs testing is a single copy of blessed champion, as I often find myself with a 8-9 attack divine shielded minion… Blessed could really end a game. might replace faceless and see if it has a better effect. The deck is more about stability though, and blessed champion is a dead card with no board (more dead than faceless.
Any suggestions or testing would be awesome!
Thanks
