Intro:
The best mecha’thun warlock I could come up with with the newly added saviors of uldum cards. This expansion give much control options to warlock. The main reason I’m trying this is with the new plague of flames, it opens up a new way to otk with mechathun. Imo it actually isn’t bad. You galvanizer the mechathun down to 9, then you play it along with plague of flames. You don’t need to care about your current board since the plague destroys all your minions.
Some card explanations:
Plot twist: Might be controversial, but I think that this deck could sometimes give you a clunky hand with high cost cards at the beginning, which would guarantee you a lost. With plot twist it gives you a chance to refresh your hand. Might also be useful lategame when you don’t want your combo pieces yet or need something specific to stay alive.
Khartut Defender: Some people don’t like this card, think it is too understat ed, but I think it’s a good card for control, especially warlock. I don’t think there are that many good options for healing for control warlock, and khartut defender not only mixes in 6 health worth of healing, but also effectively a 4 health divine shield taunt. The mana cost could be a bit too high though, will need further testing to know for sure.
Zilliax: Removal, taunt, healing, and possible synergies with galvanizer. Overall good card.
Siamat (not included): Too slow. If it had lifesteal as an option then maybe.
