This deck seems to be an updated version of the one that had been around for a month. I see some nice selection such as the Nerubian Unraveler being included vs annoying priests and druids meta decks. How you use this deck is simple. In the beginning one’d keep clearing cards like Wild Pyro and Consecration as well as Shrink Ray and Equality. You wait until you build up your cards and till your opponent builds up his/her minions on board.
When your opponent is Control meta, make sure to not have too many cards in your hand. Watch out for Mages, Rogues, and Druids they will burn your cards over 10. Otherwise, hold at 9 cards.
Against an aggro meta, wait for 5 or more minions then clear. When they really rush you to the point where you might get KO, don’t hesitate to clear the board no matter what or you will lose.
Always remember the cards you’ve used which seems to be important with this meta.
Have to agree with Crystalsmith Kangors inclusion being the MVP, his healing has saved so many games for me. I also took out Harrison for Countess Ashmore, she draws you Kangor, Zilliax and an egg/cube with a 6/6 body.

You can click on it and it will lead you to the reddit post where Sand of Star made a detailed guide including fundamentals, dynamics, list explained card by card and strategies vs all 9 classes.
Hope you can read it, educate yourself and learn how the fuck to play this awesome deck ;]
Really enjoying this deck despite missing a few of the legendarys. You can pull off some insane umbra/cube/egg turns.
I’ve included Crystalsmith in my version and I have to say he is MVP; really helps surviving by against agro until you can get your cube/egg combos off.
I think it’s important to recognise what your win condition is ASAP. Egg/cube is the obvious one but this can of course be slow. The deck can Win through attrition as well. Bait out silence/hex etc with Steed. Look to try and combo a board clear with an egg on the board to swing the game.
As I mentioned above I find crystalsmith insane in this deck; combined with uther or Zilliax (especially magnetised onto the 8/8 for 22 healing along with a huge taunt/divine shield minion that’ll likely be resurrected with KEA.
I also don’t have Jones, Tarim and the nerubian. Went for Lich King, Crystalsmith and spellbreaker. Might be swap spellbreaker for a blessing though thinking about it.
You could substitute Gluttonous Ooze in, that’s always a solid swap out for Jones and many people run that instead in all sorts of decks to tech against this meta. Obv Jones can help with draw, so you could always go to the other side of it and swap in Divine Favor.
This deck blows @$$

Boring deck, more fun to play Reno Paladin and better too.
You do know that this is a standard deck, right?
Also Reno paladin is really bad

Yep; he’s a no-brainer in this deck imo. Love the idea of Countess but sadly I don’t have her.
How the fuck do you make this work? is it just me being horrible at playing it or does this just not work the way it should?
It’s definitely just you
SandofStar reached #1 legend with it on all servers several times.
It is a very hard deck to play, it’s not just you.

Switched out Lay of Hands for Dinosize. Never had the need to play Lay of Hands. Dinosize can straight up win games since no one is expecting it.

Anyone have some tips for operating this list? It feels a bit slow and clunky.
That’s control pally for you at the moment.

I dont have Tarim, kangor, Jones, or nerubian, added crystalsmith 2 x blessings and lich king. Seems to work well.
