Rush warrior deck without keleseth. A pretty fun deck to play if you got akali as your free loa. Played around rank 5-4.
Noteworty cards:
Battle rage: Helps win games against any decks with board clears. mulligan for them if you go first, otherwise they are superfluous
Cruel taskmaster+rampage: Helps push damage with the charge minions. Also decent on turn 2 with etherium rover when possible for early game pressure.
Redband Wasp: okay-ish turn 2 play, but noteworthy for beign the best akali target.
Acolyte of pain: it kinda makes the opponents reluctant to use board clears. This deck really needs draws to keep up with decks that generate value.
Darius Crowley: I’d argue this is the worst card in the deck and I only have it in because I pulled him. He is awful to draw off of town crier and not marginally improved by the akali buff. The best he can do is smash through stonehill defenders and place more pressure if the opponents didn’t remove frothing berserker.
Mojomaster Zihi: If your opponent plays mecha’thun, use your acolytes and battle rage to draw into this asap, then play it the turn their deck runs out, it garantees victory. Also useful vs priest in general.
akali: A pretty strong finisher, you can normally get it to remove something, make your opponents use a heavy removal and it turns one of your low-cost rush minions, which are normally dead draws by this point, into additional powerhouses.
Considerations:
Arcanite reaper: An potential 10 damage to face, but you normally the blood razor and shadowmourne are much higher tempo plays to equip
spirit of the rhino: This card just… doesn’t work. It has anti-synergy with battle rage and frothing berserker, saving 1-2 health on your minions doesn’t do much because they don’t have enough health to live big board clears.
Dyn-o-matic: You usually have control of the board, so he isn’t needed.
Festeroot hulk: Hate this card so much. If you have lived with a board past turn 5 normally a dragon’s fury or psychic scream will wipe your stuff out anyway
Leeroy: Don’t have him, would definitely be an include if I did
sul-thraze: tried it at 1, nomally you have enough board control so it doesn’t remove more than two minions.
Oondasta+ amani war bears: You want your town crier to draw cheap minions to gain tempo and have board control untill turn 6. Having these two out doesn’t do anything against control decks like odd warrior, control mage or mind blast priest, and getting an akali buff to them doesn’t help against large removal.
