“Rush Beast! Rush Beast, my friend!”
This is just an evolution for my Beast Hunter, back at Saviours of Uldum were I was able to go from Rank 20 to Rank 10.
Despite looking like nothing has changed all the much at first, only 2 new cards with an extra copy have been added, with Shimmerfly being replaced for Clear the Way, and My Locus Spear and one of my Vicious Scalehides being replaced for Diving Gryphon. And now, because of both of these new Cards, This will allow Zul’Jin to reach its full potential of having nothing but 5 Rushes, and 2 Animal Companions as either for the Last Resort or to completely pressure my opponent all the way.
The reason why I have 2 Copies of Clear the Way, is because while I’m using Zul’Jin, there is a chance where It could play once, it summons my 3 Wyverns, and then plays again. And If it doesn’t work as intended, then I’ll just replace one of my Clear the Ways for a Shimmerfly or Toxic Reinforcements. One thing that Hunter was really lacking on was trying to draw cards fast enough, because although my Beasts and Spells were overall in a sustained-ish form when it comes to Mana, There have been times where Hunter tends to go dry out of cards to play and loses gas, even if you kept constantly used your hero power. So Master’s Call and Diving Gryphon are some of the most Key Cards that you want to have Ever for Rush Beast Hunter.
Another problem that Hunters Faced was not being able to protect themselves well enough unless they were either Highlander Hunter, (which is Expensive AF to obtain) or Secrets (which is strangely also pretty expensive and feels slightly more gimmicky). With the Help of the Rush Minions, and Especially for my new Trophy Card: Diving Gryphon, Having all the Key Ingredients that I needed; (Beast Check, Rush Check, Draws for you (even if it’s specific.) Check;) I can draw up to 8 cards with 6 being any beast and 2 being any rush minions. And with Zul’Jin, I am even able to try up to 14.
Dire Frenzy has also played an Important Role for my Hunter, Since I was able to Help up a lot with the help of Vicious Scalehide, or Disturbing my opponents Key Cards with Wild Bloodstinger. This Deck Especially has thought me so many lessons throughout my playtime of Hearthstone, and it has saved me so much Gold and Arcane Dust. If it wasn’t for a Deck like this, I would have not only learned slower, but probably still somewhat scrambling around and trying to find out the best opportunity I could find yet, or probably still stuck with budget Zoolock or budget Aggro Rouge.
Hopefully this time, I can go from Rank 20 all the way to finally reaching at the very least; Rank 5 or possibly even barely touching Legend. What’s great about this is that this is possibly the most Expensive but effective Budget that I’ve used as of yet. Plenty of the other Budget Decks out there had either been cheap but won’t really get you anywhere (and if it did, then it was really hard to do, once you are at Rank 15 and below) And their plans were usually either to pressure the opponents as quickly as possible, but tend to lose so much gas (A.k.A Aggro, Face and Zoo) or Big Body Minions to try and threaten opponents, but usually gets easily destroyed or even worse; Forever Frozen by Mages. I Rate this Deck 5 Stars. It has been one of my absolute Favourite Decks in Hearthstone ever (First being Dragon Decks, of Course.)
~So it’s basically Mid range Hunter? Not going to lie I love seeing the deck get some love. Hopefully the last Hunter card is another Rush synergy card or something. If you have the dust/cards why no try the Scarlet Webweaver, Tundra Rhino and Dread Raven combo for a bit of pizazz. Or maybe something like the new albatross for funny memes. Either or your deck seems fun (love mid range hunter and GL on the Rank 5 climb)
Aaay thanks, man. But yeah it’s basically Mid Range Hunter, but just evolved with better cards.
