Mulligans
General Mulligans
While some of the choices above probably make sense a few don't I'm sure. The two most noticeable are Reno and Blade. The reason I try to draw them first is simply because too many times I'm left with them near the bottem of my deck and without one I find it almost impossible to survive or setup the board how I want. If I get Reno I can always setup the boomerang with him to postpone if needed to draw C'thun or Blade. The other smaller cost minions are more obvious to either get early board presence or help draw the cards I need.
Again any suggestions on this area is appreciated also.
Didn’t really want to post something long here isn’t so much a serious deck as of right now. Just one I’m sort of tinkering with because I find it fun to play with, but I’m looking for suggestions to improve it.
I know there are a lot of cards that could potentially be switched out for something better I’m just not experienced enough to know exactly what to replace it with one in particular is Ancient Mage . Even though I enjoy having him in the deck he has saved me a few times by giving me the +2 spell damage with Fan of Knives or a larger Shadow Strike I still feel as he’s just not needed. Anyway.
The basic theme of the deck is Reno Jackson /Blade of C'Thun . I try to control the board the best I can with the lower 3 cost minions while gathering the few spells I have so I can start to combo Blade on and off the board. Fan of Knives is the light AoE crowd removal while Dark Iron Skulker the larger AoE.
The biggest weakness I find is in the drawing of cards a lot of times I’ll have almost all the cards I need except maybe Blade of C'Thun leaving me vulnerable until I draw him in some cases. Hence while you might notice the random Coldlight Oracle in there. I also realize I’m missing any weapon/secret/divine shield removal which could easily be exploited. I sometimes sub in Eater of Secrets or Blood Knight if I feel I’m having trouble with them.
Any tips or guidance is appreciated.
