Possibly my favorite card to come out of the Boomsday Project will most likely be The Boomship, simply due to it’s combo potential. It’s essentially a more controllable Varian Wrynn or a Master Oakheart , without the body. However, where Boomship shines is the fact that there’s almost no limitation. You can summon nearly anything in the game with Rush, and if it’s a Charge minion, it can hit face immediately.

Some more cards in the deck that I want to talk about are Omega AssemblyMechanical Whelp, and Master Oakheart, as well as a combo in this deck.

Cards:

Omega Assembly is the card that I think is severely underrated. People are talking about the card, but I think it’s one of the most powerful cards in the expansion, second only to the Boomship. Warrior needed some help, but getting a Cabalist's Tome-like effect for one mana seems a little bit much. Cabalist’s Tome was insane because the pool of mage cards was so insane. However, with the Boomship and Zilliax making the card stronger, and with the Mech pool being underrated as well, this card is essentially a one mana Cabalist’s Tome.

Mechanical Whelp is another very powerful card that’s severely underrated. Whelp is very simalar to Skelemancer, but without the immense downside of only activating the deathrattle on your opponent’s turn. This gets rid of the main problem Skelemancer faced, making Whelp at least a six mana 9/9 with no downside. This is obviously insane, especialy when Magnetized or given Rush.

Master Oakheart is a crazy card. In this deck it can’t pull 1-attack minions, but it can pull Whelps, the Blackhowl Gunspire, and the worst pull, Beryllium Nullifier, all of which are great in general. However, don’t rely too heavily on this guy becasue he’s not that consistent and the results aren’t over the top. Oakheart can be subbed for another Whirlwind, which I will do in the second variation of this deck.

Combo 1:

Setup: have 2 Devilsaurs, Grommash, Boomship and Whirlwind in your hand, and have 10 mana.

First, Play Boomship and summon the Devilsaurs and Grommash. Next, play Whirlwind to trigger Grommash. Then, hit face for 24 damage.

I did not make this combo, but I made the deck. The combo belongs to Regis.
