He is extremely important. He gives your kingsbane 1 extra hit which = extra health and damage throughout your entire game. You can try just adding another +attack minion for your kingsbane but nothing really makes up for the added durability.
Feels pretty solid so far. Getting Raiding Party and Preparation in your opening hand is an insane start. It does lose pretty hard to Boomsday era aggro decks that I’ve faced such as Odd Paladin and Odd Rogue. They can just build a board so much faster but I will keep working with it.
Also Cannon Barrage almost feels super overkill. If you have enough pirates to get value off it then you are probably going to win anyway. There’s been a couple games where it’s given me some board advantage but its a bit too expensive and unpredictable to be a reliable finisher/board clear. But other than that it’s a really fun archetype that works pretty well on the current unpredictable ladder. And the Kingsbane portion of the deck feels balanced and not like you’re playing a cancer deck
So far – Im finding that board clears and taunts can be an issue. It needs more card draw too. Im still learning the deck though. I think Im like 4-6 with it overall. A fast start against a slow deck is a sure win but other aggro decks like zoo can be an issue for you. Spell Hunter wrecks it – no way to deal with wolves & Rexxar beasts. Il post an updated list soon. Going to try some new cards.
thanks .. had the same issue, had to fit sprint and sap into the deck , from there had to add the strider ,,
the point is , was fun to play with kingspain after a long time of literally ignoring the card 🙂
how important is Captain Greenskin in those decks? is it a must and if it is, why?
