Replacement for black night?
Hit Legend with this deck this month, Velen is really great!
Tried it without velen and it was ok added velen and its insane!
Dude Velen is sometimes the only way to win game…
You want to play ur death knight hero as well as raza so u can deal 2 dmg for 0 mana…
U heropower face for 2, play Velen and hero power for 4, play mind blast and deal 10 dmg, hero power again for 4, holy smite for 4 dmg and once more hero power for 4. Means 28 dmg already in ONE turn (9 mana)
With some 0 mana cards like silence or this new penguin or even a 1 mana card will give u an incredible OTK combo…
The deck is strong without Velen as well but trust me he is definetly worth crafting and has a huge impact on how to play this deck!
Could someone explain me in details how crucial Prophet Velen is in this deck and how to use it properly and also what is a decent substitute for it? or is it worth crafting if u love highlander kazakus priest decks? Thnx in advance 🙂
I own Velen, he’s alright as a little boost to damage, but he’s not essential. you’ll probably already have a huge amount of value using well- everything else. if you’re a fan of highlander, velen isnt that great because you can’t use his effect immediately in most situations. if you play Raza with shadowreaper anduin then it can help with burst. if you play barnes or shadow essence you can pull velen out if your lucky. in my expirence it is just bonus value.
TL;DR – if you have the extra dust go ahead and craft it. alsoit’s a basic legendary so it won’t rotate out. Best of luck
