i personally absolutely dont think a 2nd shadow vision is necessary, its just too much imho and i wouldnt cut mirage caller, its helpful in 9 out of 10 matches for me to complete the quest.
Just went 8-0 with this deck to legend, faced 4 spell hunters (free win), deathrattle hunter, big spell mage, quest rogue, cloning priest. So all in all favourable match-ups. 2 times i mulliganed the quest away with Hemet on hand, cause then you can finish the game on turn 10 without waiting to finish the quest (only do this if you know it’s control).
Swapped 2x Doomsayer for Mass Hysteria and Mirage Caller for a second Shadow Visions. And Hemet for Zola, so you can set your life to 40 twice! Hunters are generally pretty easy, odd rogue is hard.
Not a big fan of Meca Cthun with Quest because if you have Hemet early in the game and use it you can trigger your quest during the final combo…
Most of the time I had to wait… Until the quest validation. I think the quest is a good tool against combo (and even that i’m not sure) but it’s useless against combo/control deck…
I’ve been using Mecha’thun Priest exclusively this expansion and it’s been good to me on ladder (from 15 to 5). My list is almost identical, with the only difference being the addition of Seance x1 to copy a DR minion for quest completion or Amara for another heal/stall.
Also, I think a second copy of Shadow Visions is a must. I would suggest cutting Mirage Caller and PW: Shield x1 for these changes.
im playing this list with
-1 x doomsayer
+1 x seance

Of course it’s a favorable matchup. You win by throwing your deck out the window. How does the opposing player counter that?

No need of quest for me…
not combo, I wanted to say “aggro”.
sorry
Yes, exactly. That’s why i prefer the non-quest version.
Sucks when that happens, but Amara has saved me more than I’ve lost by that.
Cut one PW: Shield for Seance, it’s saved me a few times
