This deck utilizes the new card Raiding Party to create a more reliable and smooth kingsbane experience. I have been playing Kingsbane recently on the legend ladder and think a bit more reliable draw could propel this deck from tier 2 to a solid tier 1 deck. I will go over some of the new and interesting cards below and others that could be added.
Pirate Package: With 4 tutors for pirates squeezing the most value out of raiding party will be essential for success. the total number of pirates available are minimal however I have included 7 in the deck. Southsea Deckhand, Dread Corsair, both of these are powerful pirates for tempo. able to have an immediate effect on the board and very cheap to let them be combo starters as well. Cutthroat Buccaneer ; defensive stats and your most reliable weapon buff. The combo may be hard to activate but after playing Raiding Party Kingsbane and Southsea Deckhand should be available, plus Preparation and Deadly Poison.
Only playing the deck will tell but 2 Cavern Shinyfinder and 1 Doomerang may be a bit to much.
Is there such a thing as too many weapon buffs? 2 Toxicologist may be a bit excessive but I think it will work out.
Vilespine Slayer ; a one of due to the price, still very strong but only in here because of the individual power of the card.
Possible inclusions: these are cards I strongly considered for a place, you can make the final decision on the list.
Sprint ; Elven Minstrel ; both strong drawcards. however, I think sprint is the weakest card in current kingsbane and is improved by raiding part. elven minstrel just does not synergize with raiding party. most of your minions are pirates and by putting both into the deck you make them both weaker.
Sharkfin Fan ; Hench-Clan Thug ; Although more card draw makes these cards more reliable and the pirate tag on shark fan is great. they are generally standalone minions that try and win games on there own. kingsbane is our win condition and I feel these cards dilute our decks game plan and purpose.
That’s it for the description, thanks a lot for checking out the deck and have a look at my others.
