To be honest, other than not picking Patches because you're getting him for free, you can't go much wrong with any of the other cards. Skip Assassin's Blade and Luckydo due to mana cost, the rest won't mess up your start too much.

You don't have any real board clear, so don't be afraid to use Eviscerate and your face to clear the board. You are playing an aggro deck, if he's still alive after a couple of rounds you probably lost anyway. Smash that face, balls ot the wall :D

Going full-out pirate 😀

Lots of decent synergies in this deck:

– Cold Blood & Luckydo & Deadly Poison is super sweet for 20 total damage over 2 turns if Lucky survives

– Buccaneer & weapon

– Patches & any pirate

– Weapon & ST Buccaneer

– Weapon & Southsea Deckhand

– Weapon & Bloodsea Raider

– Edwin & “everything” (deck consists mostly of super low value cards)

– Southsea Captain & every single pirate (aka most cards in this deck)

– Naga & weapon

– Squidface & weapon

– Brann & C’Thun, Blade of C’Thun and a ton of pirates like Luckydo

Have only played a couple of games so far…but in the majority of matches guys conceded before turn 7, so I figured I’d post it anyway. Will run this deck for a little bit…but aggro rogue pirate seems super fun to play so far. No clue whether it can hold up in the current meta at higher levels, starting fresh 😉

Don’t have Skycaptain or Greenskin or Leeroy, otherwise I might mess around with them. One legendary I might consider adding is Rafaam for the +10 damage or board clear. Rafaam did really well in my “thieving” rogue setup.

In case you are wondering what max damage is for Assassin’s Blade assuming optimal card draw…15. Of course you won’t ever get that perfect card draw, sooooo….

EDIT: Removed 1x Buccaneer, 1x Assassin’s Blade and 1x Dread Corsair with 2x Blade of C’Thun and C’Thun. The 2 Blades are enough for a strong C’Thun finisher and the minion removal they offer is great in late game. Got enough low-mana minions to not lose too much power in the early and mid-game.

    General strategy:

Spam low-mana pirates in the early and mid-game trying to establish board superiority. Try to combo Luckydo on turn 6 to get a 9/9 carrying you to turn 9 (hopefully). Drop your Blade(s) and then C’Thun on turn 10.

Actually…if you have Greenskin, lose one of the Nagas and use Greenskin instead.

Dropping both Southsea Captains in one turn is pretty sweet by the way if you built up a bit of a board presence.
