Quest Rogue for Kobolds and Catacombs

This is my concept idea for the Kobolds and Catacombs expansion quest rogue. Kobold’s has given us lots to work with for quest rogue, more shadowstep mechanics and more minion copying mechanics.

This deck follows basic quest rogue principals, the faster you complete the quest, the faster you win. The only thing in the realm of late game is Shadowcaster which we can use to complete the quest if it’s really taken that long, or to give us a one cost 5/5 once we’ve completed the quest.

Ideally we want to complete this quest with either a one or two cost minion, if you using Shadowcaster on Shadowcaster, you might be doing something wrong. It is also easier to go for something like Novice Engineer instead of Bloodmage Thalnos because we will have 2 engineers, but only one Thalnos.

Substitutions for this deck are pretty simple, when in doubt, put in either card draw or your favorite one or two drop. (Might I suggest golakka crawler for a missing legendary? Patches haaattteees golakka crawler and he’s very popular these days)

Some degenerates in this deck (I’m looking at you Edwin and Xaril) don’t actually serve much of a purpose other then being alternate ways of dealing damage (Edwin) or adding more card draw or shadowstep abilities (Xaril) if you don’t have those two, you don’t need to craft them, just pick a nice one or two drop and it will all be fine. (Technically Edwin is a recommended rogue class craft, but their is a better guide on this site for that!)
